My state of unconsciousness is disturbed by a loud object hitting the ground somewhere in the house. I sit up, now alert and well a little bit scared at the idea of an intruder roaming around in my goddamn house. I immediately get up at the sound of heavy boots colliding with the floors and whispering, sounding rather loudly in the quiet, almost empty apartment.
Bear!
I slowly tiptoe through the dimly lit room, making my way to the slightly opened bedroom door. At this point, I'm thanking whatever possessed me to leave my room door slightly cracked. I slowly push the door open, and force my head out of the little space to check if it was safe to advance to bear's room. Making sure the coast is clear, I quickly tiptoe to bear's room that is thankfully next to mine. I open and quickly close the door behind me.
I quietly speed walk to bear making sure he's unhurt before pulling him to my chest, kissing his head. He opens his eyes with a confused face and I signal for him to keep quiet. He slowly nods his head yes, and lays his head on my chest, with his hands securely wrapped around my neck. I walk back to my room quickly and lock the doors behind me. I grab my phone and move to the bathroom when I hear the noise getting louder. Opening the cabinet under the sink, I make Bear sit in there. Bear's eyes water when I try to close the door, but I kiss his head and assure him that he's safe. After successfulness closing the door, I pull out my phone texting Enzo and calling Ottaviano

HELP! SOMEONE BROKE IN !!
Ottaviano picks up after the third ring making me sigh in relief.
_Phone call_
Viano🖤 : Gufetto?
Jasmine: V-viano someone broke in! I'm scared. They're walking around the house and I think they have fire, i-i can feel something burning and.....
Viano🖤: Slow down gufetto. Where are you at?
Jasmine: W-we're in the bathroom.
( Clicking sound in background)
Viano🖤: Alright gufetto. I need you to stay calm for me princess, I have my men coming up right now.
Jasmine: O-okay
Viano: Gufetto my men are at your door right now. Keep your bathroom door locked, and Lucas in your sight, okay?
Jasmine: okay
Viano: I'm on my way love. E should be there in a bit. Stay calm love alright? You're safe gufetto, I won't let anything happen to the two of you.
Jasmine: I will
Viano: Oh and gufetto, close Luca's ears when I drop the call.
