We walked through the mall — me and kaylee ofcourse. We held hands as i told her what happened between me and ja and why i acted the way i did in the car. "So you opened up to him" she asked , her head cocked to the side and her mouth agape. I nodded.
She smiled and squeezed my hand. "I know you could do it. Eventually anyways." She said with a warm smile. I thought she wouldve been mad at me because i hadnt opened up like that to her before — but instead she was in glee for me. Thats what i always liked about kay, if she knew the pressures of something sensitive, she wouldnt push it. But advice would've definitely been giving out.
My phone rang as we walked into foot locker for kay , we were spouting out random things and random topics.
"Morant🫡." Is calling..

His face popped up and it seemed he was in the car in the passenger seat. Man now by g herbo was playing in the background.
I squinted my eyes as i put my face in the camera, "where you at?" i asked with a smile. He smiled softly and looked up a bit before running his tongue over his bottom lip. "Im on my way back home with jaren" he said , turning the camera to jaren , as he sung the lyrics aggressively.
"Yo lil' hoe got all the jaw game" he rapped the lyrics with his eyes on the road and both hands on the steering wheel.
I laughed a bit as jamel yelled at him to say hi. "Im jaren" he said , taking his right hand off the steering wheel , to wave at me. I waved back and introduced myself.
Jamel placed the camera back on him. "Dont get any ideas fuck boy , this one right hea' mine". He said looking at him dead serious. I heard jaren laugh.
