My mind went completely blank. It was like one of those scenes in a movie where the man would see someone he'd actually adorned.
Our eyes locked. I knew i had just talked to him a night ago , but in person had me on a whole different type of mode and level.
A soft smile was placed on both of our lips. He skipped getting into the line and headed straight towards us. He was with dtap and jaren.
he sat aside of me while the others sat from across us. My hands couldnt control myself and i engulfed him in my embrace. I missed him. His locs were freshly retwisted and he wore a simple outfit; black tee , gallery dept pants and some Louis Vuitton white slides. His scent was so heart warming. I loved it.
His arms wrapped around me as well , holding me tight. "i missed you." Jamel whispered into my ear. I smiled against his neck.
I felt him grin , and i pulled away. He quickly grabbed my hand , intertwining his fingers with mine.
I looked over at the ones across from us as they stared in awe. "Finally. The lovers are back,"Jaren stated , still continuing.
"He kept waking up grumpy and not wanting to do anything with out you." I smiled and looked down.
I looked over at jamel as he mean mugged jaren. I chuckled a bit but sqeezed his hand , letting him know i felt the same way in a way. The bell rung in the shop , and me and kaylees orders were called.
"Ill get them , stay right here gorgeous." Jamel assured. I couldnt help but to want to kiss him. He had matured in a way and i didnt know if it was a act of realness—but in the moment , i loved it.
"De , me jaren and dee out! See ya' later." Kaylee yelled out as she walked an opposite way from me and jamel.
"You didnt drive?" I questioned , looking up at jamel as we came out the ice cream shop. Aftwr we ate the ice cream he sat out side the shop and catched up with eachother.
"Na' jaren drove." He said. I nodded and walked towards my car , before i was lightly but tightly pulled back. "Even if its ya' car , it still stands" he retorted, opening my door , referring to the first day we had met and he told me to never open doors or close them when he was around.
I smiled and got in , starting the car as he opened his door , buckling his seat belt on , hooking his phone to the aux. i furrowed my eyebrows.
"You haven't been in here before?" I said. "Dee has the same car as you , i know how to work this thang." I shrugged.
Pull up by gherbo played. He knew i was a sucker for herb , loved him since his drill shit.
