Chapter 2
Joshua Renard sat at his desk. Opening up his Laptop he scrolled through the 116 e-mails he already received for the morning. And he thought cleared all of them last night. People just never seemed to leave him alone. He sighed in frustration and ran his hands through his dark black locks. Work these days seemed to get harder and harder.
His head shot up as he heard a knock on the door. He wasn't expecting anyone this early in the morning, and his P.A were never here early. But, he let whoever it was in.
"Good Morning Mr. Renard." said a voice that sounded like an angel. He was probably still day dreaming, he let it continue anyway.
"My name name is Mary Jonstone. I'm new P.A."
The dream ended as he heard what the angel said. His new P.A? They would never show up earlier than him on the first day, and with a cup of coffee just for him! Not only that, but his "new P.A." had a body that he never seen before. Long slender legs, small but not too small waist, and breast he could see himself fondling. But he shouldn't just focus on those, her face, was out of this world. Halle Berry just lost first place for most beautiful women. Long black straight hair cascading down her back, and shoulders. The red she chose to wear today, was definitely a good choice.
She looked a bit uncomfortable, and he finally realized he was staring.
"Um, i'm sorry if this is a surprise." she said
"Oh no no no, don't be have a seat. I was just stunned, most of my P.A don't get here so early and aren't as beautiful and sophisticated." He said with a grin.
"Thank you, I brought you some coffee, you look like you need it." Her cheeks a hot pink.
"Wow, that's amazing thank you."
And boy did that coffee taste good. Breakfast was always impossible for him in the morning. He falls asleep doing work and wakes up doing work. By the time he notices, it's already time for the next day to commence.
"You don't look so well Mr. Renard."
"No, i'm fine thanks, but let's not focus on me. We should be focusing on you."
"Sorry, I can't except that, i'm gonna go to to the bakery accross the street and get you something to eat."
Fiesty. He liked that.
"Ms. Jonstone-"
"No, i'll be right back."
And with that she walked out the office. He officially adored Mary. The fact that she cared about him so much and she didn't even know him was pure heart. She was definitely not like the other P.A's he's had. She was so much different. She got here early, and brought him coffee, she could also tell just by looking at him that he didn't have breakfast. Anyone could do that, but she had the heart to care and go but him food.
Within about 15 minutes she came back with a bag of food.
"I'm back! I read on your profile that you liked all sorts of things so i got you... all sorts of things." She said with a chuckle. He joined her.
"Thank you a lot. You're actually the P.A to ever do something like that for me."
"Well, my job is to be there for you, and I will." She said with a smile."Anyway, here's your food. Enjoy." She placed the bag on his desk. "Please stop working for at least 20 minutes and i'll take care of it, you sit here and relax and i'll get you some more coffee."
"Thank you Mary." He said with a full mouth jokingly.
"No problem." she said smiling brightly.
Jackpot! said the voice in the back of her head. That was an amazing first impression. Like it's always said "the way to a man's heart is food." But to get back to what he looked like when she first stepped in the office was cruel. He was still his handsome self, but he did look hungry and tired, and lifeless. She hated to see people hungry, or tired, she wanted him to relax. He was a very busy man, but now she was here to help him get back on track. He seemed to enjoy the food that she brought as well. It was just some croisants, 2 breakfast sandwiches and a salad. He sure ate it fast. She chuckled at the way he teased with food in his mouth. He was already warming up to her.
He knew nothing about her, but she new everything about him. There would be time tomorrow for them to talk but today, her focus was helping him.
She took the coffee to his office and took the scraps of garbage he lefted back, and left for him to finish his breakfast. She took his laptop as well so she could finish some of the work for him in the imte being as well.
She re-entered her office and started on the paperwork. There were a lot of things to be signed and applications to fill out. Being an architect is not as easy as it sounds.
But Mary was no one to waste time. By noon she had finished everything. Everything. All e-mials were responded to and all messages too.
She went back to Mr. Renard's office to find him sleeping. Yes, sleeping.
