Kate and I left to find Clint. He was stand in a doorway, a sword at his kneck, "Jack, no!" Kate said.

"What the hell is going on?" Elenor said as she walked out, "And why is there an Avenger in my dining room?"

"Hi," Clint said.

"Oh, my God," Jack lowered his sword, "You're... You're Archer."

"Hawkeye," Kate said.

"Clint," he corrected her.

"It's the branding issue, I'm telling you," Kate said.

"Yeah, sure," Clint said. Jack laughed.

"Ok, everyone sit, now," Elenor said. We all sat at the dining table and Elenor gave us all tea.

"Hawkeye, Lizzie, and I are working on a case, and we needed to use the bathroom. He did. So, we were by the house, we dropped in. No big deal."

"Working on a case together?" Elenor asked.

"How terrific," Jack said, Elenor gave him a shut-up look.

"He's our partner," Kate said.

"We're not partners," Clint said.

"Well, we're friends-slash-partners," Kate said.

"I wouldn't really describe us as friends," Clint said. Elenor picked up her phone.

"Someone used my laptop to sign onto my work account ten minutes ago. Any thoughts, Kate? Lizzie? Hawkeye?"

"You'll never get anything outta him. See, CB-One has trouble opening up." I looked at Kate.

"CB-One?" I asked.

"Shut up," Kate joked, "just trying out some nicknames."

"Nobody calls me CB-One," Clint said.

"Like I said, I'm just tryin' it out for a second. Probably some early childhood thing. He thinks he doesn't tell me much, but he ends up telling me all of it." I couldn't hold back my laughter.

"I tell her nothing," Clint said.
"Lizzie, what's so funny?" Elenor asked me. I sat up straight and put a neutral expression on my face,

"Nothing," I said.

"I think it's 'cause I'm generally pretty chill. I'm not like, "Oh, my God, Hawkeye!"' Kate continued.

"Definitely not chill," Clint said.

"By the way, thank you... for saving the world," Jack smiled. He's a strange guy.

"Don't mention it," Clint said.

"I would like my daughter to start telling me the truth," Elenor said.

"I logged into your account because I needed information on an actual case with actual people who are in actual danger," Kate said.

"So, Kate is helping you with an Avengers-level threat?" Elenor asked.

"Well, not exactly," Clint said.

"But you are working together?" Everyone paused Clint looked around.

"Yes. Sounds weird, 'cause it is," He said.

"Okay," she looked at Jack, "Well, I guess I'm just gonna have to trust everyone at this table to do what's right."

"Cool. It was great bumpin' into you guys," Kate said as she stood up.

"Please stay," Elenor said.

"Me too?" I asked.

"Just Kate," She said.
