Grandma

The car was quiet for a while.

"Where half way there." James announced. "So tell me boys, why are you driving with two normal strangers, well and Ethan." Ethan ignored James comment.

"I've got nothing better I guess.' Stefan looked a little uncomfortable sitting in the middle of a vampire and another werewolf although he didn't sound uncomfortable. I don't think he's been around much of his kind or any kind other than humans. Lance didn't answer he just looked out of the window. Yet another award silence.

"Wait a minute, I know this place." I smiled in excitement.

"Don't get you hopes up old grandma told me that he's been at a college for supernatural in some area in the mountains."

"Can I go see him?"

"If you don't take a certain path you can "Get lost in those wood forever!" Or at least that's what our crazy grandma said." James laughed. James phone rang again. "Speaking of the demon, no offence you two." James joked.

"I Ain't NO crazy lady, NOR am I no Demon. No offence to my sweet checks sittin next to ya." My grandma sort of a fortune teller, or present teller, and well a past teller I guess she a "Time Teller." She can also read people's minds. My Grandma takes everything James says seriously other than that she's the most lied back person I know; she my best friend. We pulled up to a huge cabin looking house with a little old lady with one hand on her hip another holding a phone up to her ear. I jumped out of the truck and ran to give her a giant hug. As Grandma led me inside. Ethan started to talk to the rest of the group while they were catching up.

"When Katie was little she had absolutely no friends. To this day we're not quite sure what we're thinking when we put her in a public school. All of her class mates were scared of her. We came here to show our new family member to our Voodoo Doctor, Grandma. We're not sure how exactly, but they clicked. Grandma made pumpkin cookies, Katie favorite up to this day. Grandma now make them almost every time we come here. They would play games together and do all sorts of things together. Katie was always happier with Grandma, we considered just having the pour child move in with her. When we asked Grandma what her thoughts were she told us that she had already raised her children and it was James turn to be the parent. Grandma would of loved to take in that poor little girl under her wing but she was entitled to her opinion. Katie's always felt that because of her past she's superior to humans. But once she meet grandma she became closer with us, but we were able to put her back in school, a different school obviously. We thought she was going to make more friends but you could probably tell that she keeps her distance but she's coming along slowly but surely. Although you two could change the sad story and make this poor little girls life change." Ethan raised his eyebrows the boys blushed. Before Ethan could continue Grandma's shoe came flying out of the house and hit Ethan on his head.

"Although I'm flattered, have you forgotten you idiot! They don't know what she is, you tarter head!" Grandma let out a big sigh. "Bring back my shoe on your way in." Grandma went back into the house. James reached down and grabbed the shoe as Ethan rubbed his head. You could smell the pumpkin cookies for the other end of the house.

"Come in we've been waiting long enough." Grandma told them as they were taking off their shoes.

"Welcome to Maylinn's Haven." You could see lots of circular table every were. "Welcome to my breakfast in bed cabin hotel. But I don't think ya'll here for a breakfast in bed." Grandma looked at Katie stuffing her face with pumpkin cookies trying to smile.
