"Ah... maybe that Niragi boy is right..."
Kaida mumbled to herself as she balanced the card of the two of hearts in her right hand at her eye level as she walked the streets as her left hand was hidden in the black shorts' pocket she found while looking for food. Laughing sarcastically at the situation she experienced the day before at that game, she sat at the tall grass with her back pressed against the tree behind her, facing the amusement park in front of her. A sad smile grew on her face as she heard lively the voice of Chota teasing her and Arisu calming her when they took her to the amusement park for the first time.
"We can go there!"
Chota shouted excitedly as he pointed to the terror house and grinned as his eyes stopped on Arisu next to Kaida as the girl looked around in disbelief. Karube scoffed, grabbing Chota's neck with his arm, making him unintentionally shout an annoyed 'gyah' , catching the girl's attention.
"Chota wants to go to the terror house..."
Arisu explained as he scratched the back of his neck shyly and pointed to the amusement house while Karube and Chota sat at the first carriage and waited for both of them to join. Kaida hummed in acknowledgment before smiling widely.
"It's going to be fun to see Chota scared with everything."
She said with a small laugh, grabbing Arisu's wrist and pulling him to take the seats behind their friends as Karube laughed at Chota's failed attempt.
"We are meeting quite a lot."
Kaida woke from her memories, averting her eyes from the part of the merry-go-round that she could see from the top of the high wall to look at the boy standing next to her.
"I'll start to think you are following me for some reason."
She said, making the boy laugh amused at her words, arranging the gun that rested on his shoulder and sitting next to her.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not happening. I don't chase, I get chased."
Niragi retorted with a smirk on his face as he looked attentively at the girl on his side as her face got illuminated by the lights that started to get on in the amusement park. With a laugh, Kaida closed her eyes and leaned her head back as Niragi smiled after hearing her laugh despite the situation.
"Was a hard game?"
He asked, tilting his head to the card still in her hand and taking advantage of her focus on the piece of card to analyze her from head to toe, checking for any visible wounds.
"It shouldn't have been for a level two but... as I had given up life, I passed it effortlessly."
Kaida explained with a scoff, putting the card in her pocket and taking a deep breath as she looked back at the boy.
"Why don't you explain me during the game? That one didn't give you a lot of visa days anyway."
He shrugged, getting up and grabbing her wrist, pulling her with him to the game arena at the zoo next the amusement park, as she saw the supposed two game arenas connected somehow. The girl blinked confusedly as they stopped in front of the table that displayed the phones as she took one with a sigh for having to play again even if it was inevitable at some point.
"It's not going to be easy to talk about anything in a physical game."
Kaida mumbled as she saw the 6 of spades on the screen while the rules were being announced. Niragi looked around the ample space, before grinning widely as he took once again her wrist.
"We just have to be safe and kill all the predators to win, I'll get the safe space for us and take care of the killing, don't worry."
He said confidently before running while pulling her with him, checking the surroundings before abruptly making her crash against his chest as a lion jumped in their direction. Kaida hissed as she looked at her scratched leg before widening her eyes at the sight of the wild animal next to them, grabbing Niragi's shirt without realizing it. Clicking his tongue against the ceiling of his mouth, the boy shot the lion, injuring him and picking the girl with one arm.
