The prophecies clearly states that he was to meet his destined lover, Hina Ragnvindr the daughter of the late Duke Ragnvindr. Sister of Diluc Ragnvindr and Kaeya Alberich from the neighbouring kingdom of Mondstadt.
They were to meet at the prince's coronation as he was soon to be king.
You weren't supposed to be the one that Al Haitham would fall for though. You weren't supposed to be at the festival and instead, you were supposed to be doing the chores for Lady Shouka and her daughters.
However, someone changed destiny or you just decided to break the rules and change your own destiny, write your own happy future and ending.
After the death of your parents, you had no where to go until you saw the flyer that Lady Shouka was hiring for maids to work for her and the pay would be decent.
However things went South. All the maids who were working there were fired and she tortured you for days. Her now dead husband had died of an incurable illness and now If you didn't do anything to her or her daughters liking, she'd whip you in front of the public. She would lock you up for days. Her daughter's even had the audacity to burn the picture of your family, the only thing you had in memory of them.
