[Nahida POV]

I knocked on my brother's office and heard a 'come in.' I stepped in, closing the door behind me softly, hearing the soft click and walked towards his desk.

I stood inside my brothers office with a sad look as he continued to write on documents with his quill ink pen. "Is something wrong, Nahida?" He questions, not looking up from his documents but acknowledging my presence.

"Well... You see, the herbalist, she wants to resign her job." I say, feeling selfish for calling out (Y/N) like that, knowing she has her own personal reasons but  I can't afford to lose my only sister-figure...

He stops and doesn't say anything for a few minutes and puts his pen down. "I hope my ears weren't playing tricks and I hope this is not a joke either." He says, his gaze locking my eyes as I stood with my arms crossed my chest.

"You know I'm dead serious brother, just because you underestimate for being younger but, I still hold the blessing of Lady Rukkhadevata and you know exactly what that means." I say back at him as my frown turns into a straight line.

He only nodded and let out a sigh. 'Talk about trying to be a "caring brother" as he puts it.'

"It seems I'll have to meet her earlier, I was hoping to talk with her when the time was right. Kaveh, fill out the rest of these documents, I'm leaving." He says, standing up from his  seat and walking past me.

"Thank you for telling me, go back to your studies." He says, walking out from the room as Kaveh looks at the desk in dread.

"Man, over a girl he never even spoke to despite seeing each other around here and there since his return. This guy acts like its the end of the world, how do you deal with your brother?" He sweats, and questions me.

"My brother is very stubborn, I'm sure you can tell, but, he has ambition and determination. Besides, why should he let go of the best herbalist we have in the palace. I'm sure my brother would think of something."

I reassure him, smiling at him and he slumps in the chair in front of him.

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

[Al Haitham POV]

I spent my time searching everywhere for her, she was no where to be seen.

I checked everywhere, the greenhouse, gardens, floor to top of the palace but it would be stupid for her to even enter the top since they are restricted sections of the palace.

"Ah, forest watchers, you're close with the herbalist, right? I'm trying to find her but I do cannot seem to find her." I say, as I let out a big sigh.

"I believe she has gone into town. She was running this morning around the gardens and her own court in panic and rushed out the palace. Some guards have gone to catch her I think." Tighnari says, with his hand on his chin, I assume he's thinking about it.
