Chapter 8

           All the fuzzy creatures were so cute. All so soft. I'm so grateful Damien brought me here! Mr. Alfred Pennyworth sauntered and rubbed against my lap while Titus sat besides me wagging his tail. Smiling, I looked over to Damien who met my gaze as he was surrounded by Bat cow and Goliath. His blue ocean eyes whirled with many emotions gleaming from the light that flooded through the window.

We spent a lot of time in that closed off room. None of the other brothers came to tag along as the sun drifted away into the horizon turning the sky a pretty orange. Only surrounded by the calming scent of a rainstorm, flowers, and the same weird smell similar to Dad. We only realized we had to leave when Mr. Alfred came to get me. (he means colone btw lol)

           Standing outside the door, I face Damien to say goodbye. Damien said he wanted to spend some more time with the pets, but he looked so sad. His lips would slightly curl downward as his bright blue eyes rippled in slight darkness and his scent seemed to turn a tad bitter. I stared up at him with a slight frown. I don't want to make him sad. As he held our hands  i then lifted myself up and pressed my lips on Damien's as his Ocean blue eyes widened. Leaning away with a smile I let go of Damiens hands and slip out the door as He stands there Ocean blue eyes wide and gleaming.

I then meet with Mr. Alfred outside the door a soft smile on his face, and we both head off to make dinner.

         Papers were scattered around my desk. All with the information of Darling. Blood and DNA testing, birth certificate, and his mother's will. Frustration filled me at the thought of his so-called family. There were no school records, no savings, nothing. Only the basic paperwork from when he was born. That and suppressant medication that was regularly bought by two beta grandparents in the past 4 years. All second genders come around their 14th birthday.

         Digging up any other additional information on the family wasn't hard to get. A ratty old dairy of his omega mother. It described how she loved me and was overly convinced I loved her just as much. She had drugged me and taken me for the night and was flustered how she didn't gain my attention after that. So when she had the pregnancy test she was ecstatic and believed I would take her back.

       I remembered her. She was always tracking me. Stalking me. Bullied other female and male omega and btea associates in galas and parties that I mingled with, not to mention my own workers at Wayne industries. Tormented others in a declaration of one sided obsession. I didn't believe she was pregnant with my child and I had wanted proof.  Especially after taking advantage of me.But she'd supplied none and went into a blinding rage. She was then fired as a model for her heinous acts  that was leaked to the plublic and becoming pregnant had changed her body. After that she went and lived with her parents. She described how much they disliked me and any connection whatsoever connected to me. Especially the baby. And how she dreamed I would whisk her away once I realized the child was mine and I was hers because of this child.

She planned out the child's name beforehand. Naming him Darling because this baby was her darling husband's child. Later the date leads on to her hospital life and how she was expecting to see me soon. How she had planned for this moment. To tie herself with me in every way and how I'd have to be with her now that she'd given me a child. That I'd get rid of my other 'Worthless' sons.

But the date ends a week after Darling was born. Looking into everything, Darling was abused, isolated, and manipulated. Kept inside, never going out, hardly fed, and drugged to prevent second gender development. All evident signs of abuse. Physical and mental. Not to mention anything that wasn't recorded.

    But i could never hate Darling. He never harmed a single person, and definitely wasn't like his so called mother.

My eyes drifted to the stack of papers. All of the information found from those idiotic abusive beta couple that abused Darling. Sighing I lean on the desk, hands meeting my lips as I debate the next phase and what would be the most painful outcome for my 'inlaws'. After a few minutes of the clock ticking away in the room I sigh leaning back. Red threatened to take over my vision with a low growl thumping in my chest. Kill threat. Keep omega safe. Kill- I'll have to have the pack help decide the fate of these annoyances. Looking up I stare at the ceiling and hear a soft knock on the door as I steady my breathing.

"Master Bruce, Dinner has been made." Alfred stated monotonously behind the dark stained doors.

    Once again I was helping Mr. Alfred bring in the dinner. Set on soft thick cushions. I couldn't help the smile that was plastered on my face. Today was perfect. I hope everyday is like this! I love all of my brothers. They're so nice to me. I walked my way around the table to set the plates down. The erratic steps of everyone were slowly reaching the room. Heavy thumps and muffled voices blended into a chaotic background noise.

    Mr. Alfred gave a joking sigh as he shook his head at me with a smile. Giggling, the door opened and I sat down. All of my brothers seemed to be out of breath as the door burst open. Damien and Jason's hair was a mess. Tim was smiling but his eyebrow was twitching as Dick'shand was on top of Tim's shoulder. They all suddenly rushed over to their chairs moving against each other. My brothers are so funny. Smiling at all of them, my hands placed in my lap I heard another pair of footsteps.

Dad walked through the doorway as my brothers shuffled in their chairs. Looking over I smiled once more. Dad's hair was slicked back but seemed slightly undone, his suit unbuttoned to the second button. His eyes seemed dull with sleep. Help alpha. Comfort Alpha. Help Alpha. Worry filled my head. A whine escaped my throat. All eyes snapped to me, and everyone seemed to sense my worry. Dad walked over as my brothers rushed over to my side, all fretting.

"Darling, what's wrong?" My dad asked as my brothers made away from him.

Meeting his worried sapphire eyes, my chest tightened more. Dark violet spread underneath his eyes. Why is Dad not getting sleep? Dad needs sleep. Alpha needs help- Another whine came out seeing the state he was in. Their smell turned even more bitter.

"D- Dad Dad, You look- You look bad. Are you hurt?" I asked, eyes tearing up as I looked up to his gaze.

Dick and Damien sighed as Jason and Tim chuckled at my worrying. Dad held a soft smile on his face as he bent down to my level. His blue eyes seemed to glow through the dim room. I fiddled with my sleeves again, fearing what words that could come out of his mouth. Large hands pulled me closer by the shoulders. Warming me through my thin sweater. Meeting each other's gaze his smile brightened and eyes bright.

"Darling. It's okay. I just had a busy day with work. I'm alright so you don't have to worry, okay?" Dad said softly, arms rubbing the side of my arms as if holding something special.

Looking down at my wrinkling sleeves, I let my teeth bite into my bottom lip. All the scents mellowed out now. All blending in harmony, calming every erratic nerve and heavy chest. Standing by my side my brothers watched the scene unfold. Teething on my bottom lip I look back up at dad.

"Promise?" I whispered out.

Chuckling now, Dad nodded in agreement. He lifted himself up and my brothers scampered off to their seats. Small chatter was made as everyone talked about their day. Well I mostly talked about my day and everyone listened as we all ate. The scraping of silverware and my chatter and the occasional comments never sounded more peaceful and happy to me.
