It was the next day, Techno had been told the news, he texted Wilbur to meet him at the local park.
"I'm here, hi Techno." Wilbur spoke when he arrived.
"Hi Wilbur, so first of all," Techno handed his brother a letter, "give that to Tommy for me? You can even read it before givin' it to him, I just- I'm not good with words so I thought a written apology would be better." he looked away.
"Aw, that's cute, TechnoSoft." Wilbur teased "Anyways, what's the news?"
"Mom is divorcing Phil." the piglin hybrid stated bluntly.
"What?" the phantom asked.
"Mom. Is. Divorcing. Phil." Techno restated as if talking to a child.
"Wait, really?" Wilbur was dumbfounded.
"I swear to Death, Wilbur. I would not make this up." The piglin hybrid stared into his soul.
"Wow, and I mean fuck. Like I knew the marriage was failing but I didn't expect it to happen so soon." The phantom didn't know what to do.
"Well, it's happening, and mom is getting the divorce papers by Saturday, I'll keep ya updated." Techno paused for a second, "Also, uh, we cool now?" He asked.
"Yeah, we cool now ,Tech." Wilbur smiled. And so they parted ways.

The divorce process went smoothly, Kristin and Techno moved to a place close to The Esempi College because Kristin worked there, Wilbur and Tommy stayed at the 'orphanage' but they knew that if they wanted they could always visit the house.
