you know
sometimes i think it's quite interesting the different ways i write parent dynamics and how they differ with each of my books

for example on delusion/vision slight spoilers btw we have a daughter with parents who have always loved her but passed on too soon... depriving her of what she needed to help her grow and move forward
yet they were always parents who cared and were so happy to have the chance to speak to her and give her as much advice or help that they could in such limited time

then we have mistress where two sisters have suffered within an abusive and manipulative household.. two parents who only seem to care about their name and use the weak heart of their daughter to their advantage.. one parent who knows just how to capture his daughters heart, and the other who's willing to shatter it in an instant if that means it would snap her into her reality

and then there's maid
maid has too few chapters for me to go too deep into this, but i think it's interesting to see how different both parents are
one is a mother who focuses more on her daughters future and her happiness there, while the other is a father who focuses more on his daughters present and her happiness now
but still, it's apparent they both love their daughter, but neither of them are perfect at all
one seems too careful, and the other seems too careless, yet it all is out of care and love for their daughter, but could cause confusion later on, especially as she's so young

it's just a bit interesting
