Standing there was just us, dumbfounded, especially me. Both of us didn't know what to do. We catch glances at each other and dart our eyes at the decorated plant above us.

"Heheh.." Hyunjin awkwardly chuckles as he scratches the back of his neck.

"W-we don't have to! It's okay!" I exclaimed.

Although I want to, it won't feel right, he's my friend. Well, at least he sees me as just a friend. I've recently found out my feelings for him a few months back. Every thought in my brain since then has been doubting myself and wishing I could be better. Wishing... I could be better for him.

Quickly, I shuffle my feet a few steps away from him while looking down to hide my rosy cheeks. I hear his footsteps get closer as he tilts my face up to make eye contact.

"But I want to," Hyunjin quietly says.

Hyunjin moves his face closer to mine and lifts my bangs to reveal my forehead. I feel his warm breath on the area before he plants a small kiss.

My eyes widen. My face is practically on fire right now. I couldn't help but hear a quiet laugh from him.

"What's so funny?" I ask.

"Your reaction's cute."

"N-no, it's not!"

"Well, cool off so we can finish what needs to be done."

"I-I'll never b-be able to cool off!"

" Fine then, I'll just do it while you're off guard."

"Huh?"

My final phrase before his lips landed on mine. Not even a word, just a stupid little sound!

Gosh, his lips are so perfect. So soft, plump, gentle. Our mouths were so in sync. His hands slowly moved to touch my cheek. It was a brief kiss but certainly not a peck.

I look at him to see a blush covering his cheeks. He swiftly pulls me into a warm hug, discarding all the cold air around me.

"I love you," he mumbles.

My eyes widen upon hearing those words. Later on, tears started to form in my eyes. I wrap my arms around him.

"I love you too," I mutter, burying my face into his neck to feel more of his warmth.
