Chapter 3: Kevin

It's been a couple of days since Kim tested positive. She and Adam were both doing ok but still pretty sick. Their coughs were pretty bad, almost getting to the point where they were vomiting. The worst symptoms for them were the headaches, nothing really helped except a warm compress on their foreheads but Kim couldn't do that too often because of how high her fever would get. So medicine for her and lots of rest. 

Everyone else was doing relatively ok, they were handling this in their own ways. Hailey was helping to take care of Adam and Kim while also trying to keep her anxiety at ease about getting sick. Jay and Vanessa were just using this time to relax and Jay was still trying to keep his worries at ease as well. 

Kevin, however, would spend the majority of the day in his room by himself. Hailey would check on him multiple times just checking that he wasn't getting sick too but he assured her he wasn't, he just wanted to keep his distance the best he could but he appreciated the concern.

Kevin's POV

I was in my room doing some work on my laptop. I had been in here for a couple of hours with a couple people coming to check on me making sure I'm not sick yet , mainly Hailey but I know she's just worried, but in all honestly that's why I'm here. I wanted to be away from everyone for a bit to lower my chances of getting this. I got bored after a while of being on my phone after I was done with my work, so I decided to watch a movie on my laptop. I've barely had time to watch movies so I thought since I have time I would watch movies from my list. 

I was watching Fast and Furious, when I heard a knock on my door "Come in" I said and I saw V coming in "Hey V, what's up? " I asked pausing my movie and she came and sat on my bed "I haven't seen you all day wanted to check on you, are you ok? " she said "I'm fine just felt like being alone today and wanting to keep my distance if you know what I mean " I said sitting up "Yeah I get it, I can go if you want some space " she said getting up but I grab her hand "No stay, want to watch 'Fast and Furious' with me?" I ask. She smiles "Yeah sure " she said as she came and laid on my bed with me. We spent the next 30 minutes watching the movie but to be honest neither of us were really watching. 

I kept grabbing Vanessa's hand and rubbing my thumb on top of it and she would squeeze it. We start talking about the movie, then work but we keep stopping and start staring at each other and smiling. Next thing we know we're kissing and I'm taking off Vanessa's shirt (y'all know what comes next I can't write that😭).

General POV

A couple of hours later, Kevin and Vanessa were asleep in Kevin's bed with him holding her. 

Kevin started to wake up and as soon as he opened his eyes he felt like his head was going to explode all while feeling like someone was pounding his head with a hammer. He knew this was the beginning of a migraine, a really bad one. He started groaning and this woke Vanessa up. "Hmm Kev, what's wrong " Vanessa said as she sat up "Ow can you please lower your voice " Kevin said quietly with his eyes closed. "I'm sorry, what's wrong " she said whispering while looking him over "Migraine, hurts bad " he said quietly not opening his eyes "Oh oh ok I'll go get your meds, some water, and a cool compress " Vanessa said as she got out of the bed to rush to get the stuff for Kevin. Vanessa failed to realize she was still in a bra and shorts from her and Kevin's 'activity' earlier. 

When she walked out of Kevin's room and went to get the stuff she ran into Hailey coming back from the bathroom who looked at her with confusion across her face.
