Nicola's POV
"Oi, Nicola!" Natsu called out.

Who is this Nicola you may ask? Well, that would be me. The one and only Blood Angel Slayer of Fiore. Not many have heard of me since I go on private mission requests. If I were to go out, people would call me "The Bloody Reaper, Akeldama".

"What do you want, Pyro?" I asked, clearly uninterested.

"Did Gray get to your head?! I'll kick his ass!"

I rolled my eyes. "Of course not. Stripper isn't getting to my head," I looked back at him, "So what do you want?"

"Oh, I was wondering if you wanted to go walk around town with Happy, Lucy and me?"

"Happy, Lucy and I," I corrected him. "And sorry, I can't. I'm going on a mission to pay my rent. It's due soon..."

"Since when did you ever pay rent?" Gray, who happened to be listening to our conversation, asked.

"Since the day I stopped sleeping at Cana's place," I scoffed.

"Can't the mission wait until tomorrow?" Natsu pouted with puppy eyes that I never knew existed.

"Fine, let's go."

After a long three hours of shopping, which mostly consisted of fish shopping, thanks to Happy, something popped into my mind. "Natsu, Happy. Isn't there something coming up in a few days?" Their confused facial expressions soon became surprised ones.

The three of us raced back to the guild, leaving Lucy behind. The S-Class exams were nearing, and almost no one wanted to give up the chance to become S-Class.

The mission board was almost empty by now. People were rushing in and out of the guild, fighting over who should do the missions.

I needed to participate in the exams this year. I was never too weak nor to young to participate. The cause would always be because I was either badly injured or ill, but not this year. I'm not giving my place up.

"I GOT IT! HAPPY, LET'S GO!" Natsu exclaimed as he ran out of the guild.

"Natsu, bring me with you!" Lucy yelled to him. It may have been too far away for her to hear, but he yelled, "Sorry Luce, I can't!"

"Nicola? Can you tell me what's going on?" Lucy asked. "Ask Mirajane. She may be able to help you," I grabbed the closed mission and left.

As I ran to the train station, visions flashed in my mind. What does this mean? I don't remember being able to see the future.. All my friends, they were on Tenrou Island. There was a man in black. He mumbled something, I think it was Acnologia. Then I just saw flash of light and I opened my eyes to see myself about to fall on top of a child.

"Agh!" I quickly caught myself and backed away from the kid. "Sorry, kid. I didn't see where I was going..."

He's kinda cute, in a baby way. He roles his eyes and avoided making eye contact with me.
I held out my hand for him to shake, "My name is Nicola, what's yours?" Awkward silence took place for a few minutes,

"Name's Ryos," he scoffed.

I smiled, "That's a nice name. Well, sorry again for almost falling on top of you, I have to go. Bye." I ran off, waving. He just walks away without saying a word. Strange kid, but I'm sure he's a good one.

The day of the exams is nearing. I have been taking missions and completing them without a sweat, not a single criminal or monster was shown mercy.

This is the last mission on the board. Something about this one...

It gives me chills.
