Chapter 18

Liz’s POV

The next day me and Andrew had a really long conversation.

He wanted to win my love again so he asked to be with me and to let him.

Honestly I knew this was a bad idea but I was so emotionally exhausted and desperate to not feel this way that I said yes.

He was about to kiss me when Louis and Niall entered the room and we each moved away from each other but the guys noticed something.

“Good news guys, Liz decided to give me another chance isn’t that great?” Andrew said and I just felt like shooting myself.

“Yeah great!” said Louis with fake enthusiasm and Niall didn’t say anything he just acted like he was busy with his phone.

“Anyways I gotta go do some stuff, see you tonight” he said kissing me really quickly and leaving me there wishing to be struck by lightning.

We were all silent and it was very uncomfortable.

“I didn’t know what to tell him” I said quietly but they both heard me.

“You don’t need to explain yourself to us” Niall said in a really sad voice, he hesitated a moment and then left, leaving me and Louis alone.

“What the hell are you doing?” asked Louis afterwards.

“I don’t know” I whispered because of the knot on my throat.

“I just thought I needed to stop feeling whatever it is I’m feeling for Niall and Andrew comes and tells me he loves me and to give him another chance, so I said yes” I told him.

“Well that was really stupid” Louis said matter of fact.

“I know” I answered quietly.

“Are you okay?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.

“Yeah… I just hate seeing that look Niall had on his face. I hate causing him sadness” I said slowly because I was trying real hard not to cry.

“Liz” Louis said even more concerned, “You’re not going to cry are you?” he asked ready to panic.

“I won’t cry as long as I don’t get a hug, because when I get them I breakdown” I replied.

“Then I won’t hug you. Just breathe, breathe…” he said while breathing like a pregnant woman would, which I found funny and I giggled and he smiled.

“I’m getting better at this” he said with a goofy grin.

“Yeah… you are” I told him.

Niall’s POV

I shouldn’t feel like this, I’m not going cry because she’s back with her ex.

Niall James Horan stop being such a baby!

You lost your chance for being an idiot, now get over it.

“Dude, what’s wrong?” asked Liam.

“Nothing” I answered.

“You are a terrible liar” he said.

“Fine. Liz is back with Andrew” I said, my voice low.

“What?” Liam and Zayn who apparently had just entered the room, asked at the same time.

“But, but…” Zayn wasn’t able to finish that sentence, he just left.

“I’m sorry mate, I really wanted you guys to be together” said Liam trying to be sympathetic.
