The meeting went as it did in the series. I smiled throughout it all, like there was nothing wrong. There was no interference on my part. I knew father was ambitious, so I didn't want to ruin this for him. On the other hand, Grace was arriving. I don't know when, but I assumed sometime this week. As soon as she arrived, I'd need a detailed file on her connection to Inspector Campbell and Winston Churchill.
That night, I met the only person who still remained in Birmingham from out meet-up; Chris. Chris was staying in an apartment close to my own, so I didn't have much trouble sneaking out and entering his apartment on the ground floor.
"Holy shite!" He shouted as I loomed over him. As he sat up, I saw that he was naked. I looked away out of politeness.
Chris was bulky now, yet still slightly lanky. Thanks to Ben the buff, much of the team had gained such a body strength and structure. The moonlight framed his diamond face which had become more refined every year, yet this boy was still 11. He was currently shorter than me, but I was sure that in a year or two, that would change, just like with his twin.
Chris searched for his glasses. I waited a few moments before picking them up, taking his hand and putting them in it. He shook his head as he tried to process everything.
"Jude? What the fuck? It's 2 A.M!" He whisper-shouted.
"Yes, and I need your help." I shrugged.
"Can this not wait till morning?" He whined, "I'm on vacation."
"Exactly why no one will suspect a thing. This case is an extremely high-profile one. You all will investigate on this yourselves. Don't trust anyone else." I emphasized on the last four words.
"What the hell is going on, Jude?" He noticed the seriousness in my tone.
"That's what I'd like to find out. There's an inspector coming to town. Campbell. Get me everything on him. See if he's working with anyone else. I want him tailed for at least 2 weeks. Find out why he's here. Find out how to get him to leave. Alert everyone."
"Couldn't you have waited for a few days more? Everyone would have arrived-"
"Inspector Campbell is arriving tomorrow morning. I wanted this set in motion immediately. I want everything on him by the end of these two weeks."
