Opening my eyes, all I saw were the sides of two buildings; just like every day. For four years now, I had been seeing this very same scenery. Ever since I was a baby. Well, a baby in this world.

'God' brought me here. In the 1912 town of Small Heath, England. I'd met him only once and that was after my first death. I had not been informed which universe I was being sent into. Whether it was a fictional one, a real alternate reality or one crafted just for me I did not know. All I knew was that now I am here, and now I need to survive.

But bloody Peaky Blinders? He could not have given me a clearer 'You can go die for all I care' note. I watched, my eyes wide with shock, as Thomas Shelby and Freddie Thorne walked into the pub across the street. The snow was falling, and I wondered how it would be to have that warm coat around my shoulders. My fingers held on tighter to the hem of the sack I had made a piece of cloth out of. The only other piece of clothing I had was a cheap necklace. I don't know where or who I go it from, but it had become part of me. The smell from the restaurant tingled my nose, and my stomach grumbled. I sneezed.

I wiped my snot away. My life had been reduced to sleeping in the mornings, because I was too afraid some man was going to have his way with me at night. I would wake up at mid-afternoon, around 3 I would presume form the sun's position. Instantly, I would search through the trash cans of the restaurant beside me and the pub across from me. I didn't remember if I had a 'mother' that fed me when I was young. I really didn't care about her either.

Getting rid of my shock, I went to the back of the valley to rummage through the cans for food. My legs were numb from the cold, but I managed to walk anyway. This time, though, I found nothing in the cans of the restaurant even after ruthless digging. The pub was always a last choice scenario since most things in their cans were puke bags, but there was the occasional bread or two.

I managed to stagger across the road, when I bumped into somebody. I fell onto the snow. I looked up, and my heart nearly stopped.

I bumped into Thomas fucking Shelby.

That was it. I was dead. 4 years in this world, first time seeing him, last time seeing anything.

But I wasn't afraid to go. He was actually hot, so I would let him kill me any day.

Thomas had a smile on his face, which has quickly disappeared when I bumped into him. Freddie's gaze also was scrutinizing my body. My body shook under their glares and my teeth chattered. It wasn't from fear, but from the sheer excitement I was feeling.
