I walked along the front, Nala's lead held firmly in my hand. I wasn't the strongest person and the last time I had walked a dog it ended up pulling me too hard and I fell over. I thought, however, that Nala would be easy to walk considering the fact that she was much smaller than my friends dog I had walked. I thought I would barely feel her pulling on the lead.
I was wrong. As it was, she was practically ripping my arm off.
"Aria, there's only 2 weeks left of the summer holidays! We should go back to school shopping! Not now, of course, we only came out to walk Nala, but... Wait, what school do you go to?"
Zoe asked.
School! I almost forgot.
"Ashford Academy, and back to school shopping sounds like fun! Shame I have to wear uniform though."
"That doesn't matter. We can get you new school shoes and a bag and new stationary!"
I grinned. All of a sudden, Nala started getting even more excited and suddenly pulled on the lead. I stumbled forwards.
"Here, let me take that from you."
Alfie offered, so I passed him the lead.
"Anyway," He asked, "Do you have any friends at Ashford?"
"I have a few close ones, but Im friendly with most people."
"Most?"
Zoe raised an eyebrow but smiled.
"Only if they're friendly to me."
Zoe looked shocked.
"I couldn't imagine someone not liking you."
"You haven't known me very long," I pointed out, "But they're very argumentative people."
Zoe laughed.
"I think Nala's getting a bit too excited. We'd better head back."

When I got back, I downloaded various apps onto my new iPhone. Talking about school had reminded me about my friends so I quickly checked snapchat first. I say quickly, but one of my closest friends, Alexa, is constantly on snapchat do I found myself in a long conversation with her by sending each other ugly pictures.
Alexa is the shortest of us all, with long wavy black hair and hazel eyes framed with thick eyelashes. She is bubbly and excitable, always doing something stupidly hilarious and making us all laugh. I realised quite how much I missed her
