A Whole New World: Shane Davis x reader

i woke up with a smile on my face, remembering last nights events. i began to get ready for the day. after getting ready i walked downstairs to eat  breakfast when i saw my mom and dad walk someone out the door. 

"goodbye and thank you. we'll see you tonight." my mom said.

"who was that?" i asked, sitting at the table.

"some friends who stopped by to drop something off for tonight." my dad said.

"oh okay." i said finishing up my breakfast. 

"tonight i want you to be on your best behavior, y/n. " my mom said in a very serious tone. 

"why?" 

"because tonight is very important for us, and possibly for you to." my dad said. 

"ok" i said and then i heard a honk. i smiled and grabbed my stuff running out the door to meet my best friend. 

"be safe love you!" my parents yelled

"love you too" i yelled back. i hopped in the black car. i saw shane look up from his phone and smile at me. we did a part of our handshake (because we have to use our legs for part of it). 

"are you ready for tonight?" he asked 

"i am so ready but we might have to meet some people and be interrupted." i said. every tuesday night shane and i have movie/game night. we have since we were in about 7th grade. 

"why" he asked

"my parents have people coming but i don't need to be there a lot." i said 

"alright then" he said 

"but i promise we are going to have it tonight after dance." i said 

" i know" he smirked. we arrived at school and did all the usual stuff until savannah pulled me aside at lunch. 

"you better spill" she said 

"what do you mean?" i asked 

"you know what i mean about you and shane last night" she poked at me.

"umm well he helped me work out my scene and-" i started only to be quickly cutoff

"girl he did more than help you work out your scene." she said

"well he just was being shane you know he is." i said. 

"okay just keep telling yourself that honey." she said 

"how did you know anyways?" i asked

"me and cash were in the park beside the studio and heard/saw you guys." she said 

" m'kay." i said laughing. the school day was coming to an end and me and shane were packing up to go to dance class. shane drove their and we danced our little hearts out together like we have been since kindergarten. to say the least we were both extremely sweaty but didn't mind. me and him had ended up doing a duo that was made for a pair that were more than friends. nonetheless we did it because we couldn't let our instructor down and dance is fun. after dance we drove to my house. when we arrived i sent him up to shower and then i would shower. i walked to the kitchen and grabbed some food and drinks for us. 

"y/n come here please." my mom yelled quietly. 

 "coming" i said i walked into the formal dining room. i saw a older gentleman and lady with a boy about my age. 

"uh hi" i said waving awkwardly.

"hi dear." they older lady said.

"y/n this mr and mrs white and this is their son Percy."
