what are we gonna do?

I went with Shane to his house. We were both not ready for what was about to come. I paced back and forth in his room thinking of what I could do to stop what was happening.

"y/n, please stop worrying just get a restraining order or something and it will be ok." Shane said from his bed.

"Shane I can't. I don't want to make a big deal out of it because he hasn't done anything yet."

"It's ok. Just stick with me and sav all day and we'll be fine." he said standing up.

"Shane, we don't know what he can do. Percy's dad is the mayor, he can make anything happen and he basically controls the city. We aren't fine because Percy is a daddy's boy and he'll get what he wants!" i said.

"Ok and? We can beat them at their own game. Your dad is a pretty honest man and everyone trusts him. Its gonna be fine."

"Shane, his dad, can easily beat my dad. That's the truth, we both know it. Stop telling me everything is going to be ok because we both know the situation we are in!" I yelled, sitting on the floor crying. Shane sat beside me and held me.

"Ok we may not know what's going to happen but i love you and we will fight it together." he said

"Why does it have to be me? Why is all of this happening to me?" I whispered, in a voice you could just barely hear.

"I don't know but what I do know is that if now is bad your future is going to be so good. And I'm ready to be there for all of it with you because you're mine and no one can take you from me ever again." he said, kissing my forehead. I felt a few tears hit my head signaling that he had also been crying. The next hour or so consisted of us holding each other on his floor and crying trying to figure out a way out of this. On my walk home I felt as though I was being watched but I could never see anybody. Finally arriving home I noticed my dad wasn't home yet so I just made myself a plate and did homework in my room. After writing some of my English paper I heard a noise by my window. I walked over and before I could open the door a figure appeared. It scared me so much that I walked back towards my bed to grab my phone. The figure opened the door and stepped in the light. It was Percy.

"Hey" he said so calmly it scared me.

"What do you want?" I asked, venom dripping with each word.

"Just to talk with you" he said, walking to my desk chair and sitting down.

"Well I don't want to talk so get out." I said pointing to the door.

"That's no way to treat a guest or a friend." he said standing up again.

"Well you did just break into my house and I'm pretty sure you're only here so you can ruin my life and make me become your girlfriend. I got the jist of the plan and its not gonna happen." I said.

"You're pretty smart, I'll give you that. However you don't have to ruin the fun of making me go through your little prince charming." he said

"News flash I'm not going to ever be yours and you can't do anything about it. Just let me live my life in peace. Go find you a girlfriend who is just as psychotic as you! You and Aj both just need to leave me alone. Gosh I'm ready to end my life because of you two!" I yelled at him letting everything out.

"You just don't know what you want. You're torn between staying with Shane and your life being miserable because we won't stop or you come be with me and everything ends and Shane stays unharmed." he said walking closer to me.

"If you lay a finger on I swear I'll-"

"You'll what? You already know my dad has everyone under their finger. What can you do? You're just a helpless, reckless teenage girl. No one is ever going to believe you." he said towering over me. Between all of our talking he had trapped me between himself and my bed. Slowly his hand laid on my cheek.
