still shane pov

it has been about 3 months and i have been miserable. i haven't heard from y/n since. i don't know if her mom made her do that or she chose to. either way i haven't been myself at all. not wanting to do anything and constantly crying myself to sleep. 

"hey shane" my mom said walking in my bedroom. 

"yeah mom" i asked

"we have to go to california you have stuff to do with the boys." she said

"oh okay" was all i could say

"you worried you'll see her?" my mom asked

"no i want to see her i just don't know if i will or not." i said.

"bub if its meant to be you'll see her but you also know her mother as well." she said 

"yeah" 

"okay well pack up" she said 

"alright" i began to pack my clothes and other things. time to work and maybe see her.

y/n pov

so it has been three months since my mom has been controlling my every move. she even got me a boyfriend. yay (now imagine this with all the sarcasim in the world.) i hate him he is almost as controlling as my mom. his name is aj. we were out at the mall looking in some stores and just 'hanging out'. 

"aj i'm going outside." i said

"what have i told you to call me" he said putting his hand lightly around my throat. 

"sorry babe i'm going outside." 

"don't run" he said letting me go. i walked out and sat on a bench until i noticed a nice vintage store. i walked in and looked around. i heard a familiar voice and looked up. there he was shane. three months since i had seen, heard or touched him and he's right across from me. he looked up and locked eyes with me. i teared up and began to walk away, if my mom or aj ever found out he was here it would be over. he followed my every move and his legs being longer than mine he caught up quickly and grabbed my arm turning me towards him. 

"why"

"shane help" was all i could say. 

"what's wrong?" he asked me sternly. 

"i can't i just want to go home, with you, to dad." i said. he pulled me into a hug which i quickly retracted from. 

"i can't if he ever-" 

"hey!" no not now not here please. i turned to aj stomping over to me. he stepped in front of me and looked shane in the eyes saying

"what are you doing" i did the motion for don't say anything.

"um talking to her." he said in a confused tone. 

"well don't" he said

"why not, you can't control her." shane said and four boys showed up behind him. 

"shane" one of them said. no i didn't want aj to know he was shane. 

"so you're the infamous shane" he smirked "come on babe we have to go" 

"ok" i said quietly following him. 

"stop" shane said pulling me back. 

"what did you say" aj said stepping closer to him. 

"i said stop. she's not going with you. she's coming home where she belongs." shane said stepping closer. he was easily a few inches taller making him look down slightly.
