chapter 3: "i already liked him so much"

beep,beep,beep,bee-
i picked up my phone and hit the stop button on my alarm, i was so tired. i checked the time, yup, 5:30 a.m.

i got up and yawned, walked to the bathroom and started packing up all of my stuff that was in there, then i moved my bedroom and packed all of that stuff too. once i was done i had left a pair of clean clothes and a couple of things that i'll need on the plane. it would be a long ride back to wisconsin but i was ready for it. i was going to miss the warmth of barcelona. at least it's warmer than wisconsin by a lot. instead of 30 degrees it was usually around the upper 60's this time of year. i was wayyyyy to lazy to put on makeup so i just changed and packed my carry-on.

i walked into the main room and my parents were all ready and had everything packed. thank god i have parents that are on time.

"ready to go y/n?" my dad yawned.

"ready as i'll ever be." i answered

we picked up everything and walked to our rental car. i loaded everything into the trunk while my parents went back in for one extra sweep to make sure we didn't leave anything.

i closed the trunk then crawled into the backseat and checked the time 6:08 a.m. my god.

my parents got into the car and i put my airpods in and listened to "sure thing" by miguel. it instantly reminded me of pedri. i forgot to text him, but then i decided it was to early so i would before we took off.

after about 30 minutes we arrived at the airport. we returned the rental car and went through customs and security and all that jazz. when we got to our gate it was already 7:23 and we loaded our plane at 8 so i went to go find some starbucks.

after i found some and returned back to my parents there was only about 15 minutes before we boarded. i decided i should probably text pedri now and if he's still asleep then he'll see it when he wakes up.

good morning pedri. we are about to board and it's a 14 and a half hour flight so i'll get off the plane at almost 1 in the morning. ttyl

we boarded the plane and i got window seat because both of my parents know that i love it. it was about 8:25 when i got a text back.

hey y/n i hope you slept well. fly safe! i'll be about to wake up when you text me :)

i didn't even text back i just sat there smiling as we took off. i thought it was crazy that we just met yesterday but i already liked him so much. i just didn't know what to do because he was y/b/n best friend.

this was a kinda short chapter. sorry for another kind of boring one. their will probably be 1 more meh one and then it'll get better i promise. i also didn't have a lot of time today due to hanging out with friends and stuff.
