this is basically a story about a girl who has an older brother who plays on barća and is best friends with pedri, you meet him after one of your brothers games and you already knew it was love
i woke up to the sound of laughter and cooing, i opened my eyes and sat up, i assumed that pedri must have fallen asleep too as he yawned and stretched a bit,
" oh look who's awake," ferran said, " the two love birds" the team started laughing again.
"shut up" pedri scowled,
" make me," ferran grinned, " i have leverage" he shoved his phone towards us and there on his screen was a picture of us asleep in our seats.
" oh you mother fucker," pedri got up and attacked ferran, they were punching and hitting eachother and i didn't even bother. i checked on the screen what time we would be there and we only had 30 minutes left.
surprisingly i still had my airpod in but just barely, it wasn't playing music anymore though so i turned some on, "pretty boy" by the neighborhood came on and i stared out the window into the darkness as pedri sat back down,
"sorry about that,"
"no your good"
he picked up my airpod case, "can i listen?"
"oh uhm sure" i didn't know if he would like my music taste especially since a love song was playing on my phone. he picked up my other airpod and put it in his ear.
"even if my heart stops beating, you're the only thing i need, ooh, with me, even if the earth stops shaking you're the only thing worth taking, ooh with me"
he glanced over at me and smiled his cute little smile, "is this song about me"
" i don't know," sarcasm running through my voice, " i didn't write it"
" you smartass," he chuckled,
me and him listen to music for another 25 minutes until we were about to land in the qatar airport.
" here," he handed me my airpod, "thanks"
"yeah of course" i put both the airpods back in their case. i started packing up my stuff and before i knew it we were loading off the plane onto a bus to take us to the team hotel.
sitting next to pedri again, it wasn't long before we pulled up to the hotel. there wasn't any paparazzi there yet so we all rushed inside. the team gather around luis as he read off who would be sharing a room with who,
" ok gavi, you'll be with ferran, rodri and koke you'll be together, and of course, y/n and pedri" we both started blushing as some of pedri's teammates nudged him.
once me and pedri had found our room we both unpacked all our stuff. once that was done, pedri went to the bathroom to get dressed so he could go to practice. i was going to stay back in the hotel since their practice was 3 hours long. i sat down on my bed and once he got dressed he walked over to me,
"bye beautiful," he hugged me tight, " see you later"
"bye," i hugged back, " have fun!"
" yup," he picked up his bag and opened the door, "see you later" and the door closed shut.
i decided i was hungry for breakfast so i order door dash to be dropped off at the front desk.
30 minutes later i got the notification that it had arrived, as i walked down the stairs i couldn't help but think, does he love me i know that we've only kissed once but i've thought about saying i love you to him multiple times so i wondered if he thought the same thing.
i picked up the doordash and walked back upstairs, sat on the bed, turned on the tv, and dug in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ " heyyyyyy!" the front door opened and i lept up. i was soooooo bored i had nothing to do for the past 3 and a half hours and it sucked. i walked up to pedri and wrapped him in a hug,
"you ok? i'm sweaty i don't think you want to hug me"
"yeah i was just so bored without you" i let go of him as he set his bag down,
"i'm flattered"
"oh shut up" i grinned, " what do you want to do? we have the whole afternoon to do nothing and then you have team dinner"
" i don't know but luis and the team agreed that you should come with us to team dinner"
"really? uh ok" i sat back down on the couch and cuddle up in my blanket.
" i'm going to shower real quick"
"ok i'll be waiting" i scrolled through tiktok until he was down showering. he walked out of the bathroom in pants and no shirt. he was actually super hot but i tried to ignore it.
" go ahead y/n, you can look. i know im hot"
" oh shut up and come over here" he put a plain shirt on and pounced on me,
" owwww what the hell" i said laughing,
"sorry" he was fully laying on top of me, head resting in my neck.
" wow pedri your hella clingy" i said as he wrapped his arms around me.
" you know you love it"
"i never said i didn't," he was literally crushing me, " sorry but your literally laying right on top of me. can you move?" he rolled off, "yeah my bad"
he sat next to me on my bed as i rolled over onto my stomach.
" i'm going to take a nap" i was tired.
" goddamn y/n how much do you sleep?"
" a lot if i'm being honest, night night" i heard him laying down too and i felt a warm hand on my back drawing circles with his finger. it sent me straight to sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ok i feel like their relationship is moving a bit too quickly idk. what do you guys think? anyways im soooooo happy barca won today 🙏 and pedri scored the winning pk!
