"We have to get you to the hospital, looks like the ball hit some blood vessels and ruptured them. Your abdomen is filling up with blood"
What? That sounded serious. I wonder what my parents are gonna say about this.
The ride in the ambulance was not so bad, giving the fact that I had some painkillers in my system.
When we arrived, I got into surgery, which lasted a few hours, according to my brother. When I woke up, he was standing by my side, along with my parents and a few fellow firefighers.
"Thank you for caring about me"
"Of course" they all said
