There Was A Picture

“It is the beginning of this brand. Later, I also will try to create skincare for men.” Lisa said.

“I will be your tester.” Jungkook smiled.

“You will be my tester?” Lisa frowned.

“What? Am I not enough?” Jungkook wanted to know the reason why she did not seem to like the idea.

“If you use my products and become more outstanding than this, what will I do?” Lisa asked Jungkook.

Jungkook seemed to be stunned for a moment after hearing Lisa answered his question like that. Then he chuckled. Turned out that his beloved Lili was feeling insecure with his looks.

Lisa and Jungkook were shocked. They looked at each other and after that, they ran out of the store.

Not far from the store, someone was screaming for help and he seemed to hug a woman. They quickly approached that person.

“What has happened ?” Lisa asked.

“We have been robbed. And she has just become like this.” The man looked at the girl in his arms.

“Let me try to check her pulse. Well, I’m kinda doctor.” Lisa said.

Lisa looked at the girl and saw the girl was lying lifeless in his arms. Lisa grabbed the girl’s wrist and tried to read her pulse. Her pulse was beating very strong and fast. And this...

“She is just shocked. But you better take her to a hospital for further check-up.” Lisa said to the man.

The man took a breath of relief when he heard about this. He did not care that what had been robbed. He just wanted the girl to be safe and sound.

“And do you know she is pregnant?” Lisa continued her sentence.

“What?!!!” The man was very shocked when Lisa told the matter.

“She... Is... Preg... Nant?” The man was stumbling in his speech.

This man might not know the existence of the child in the girl’s belly. She was afraid that the man would do something to the girl since the girl was unconscious.

“Well, you can also check it at the hospital.” Lisa said.

“I’m going to be a father.” The man suddenly shouted, making everyone stop and look at him.

The man took out a card and gave it to Lisa. Lisa stared at the card.

“Here is my contact number. You have helped me just now. To pay your kindness, you can call this number if you need my help. I will definitely try to help you with my best.” The man carried the girl in princess style in his arms and left Lisa and Jungkook after Lisa received the card.

Lisa took a look at the card. ‘CEO of Ye Group, Ye Mu Yuan.’ When Lisa finished reading his name, she lifted her face and stared at the man who had just walked away from them. Lisa was staring at the man for a long time until the man had vanished from her sight.

“What? Are you jealous?” Jungkook asked Lisa.

“Wha... What? No, I’m not thinking about that.” Lisa denied while blushing.

Jungkook just laughed. Teasing his beloved Lili was fun. Her cute red blushing face was very refreshing for him.

“Let’s go buy some food and have a picnic at Minwa Lake.” Jungkook suggested.

“Are you sure?” Lisa asked.

“Of course.” Jungkook touched her nose.

“Okay.”

They walked into the restaurant and ordered some food to take away. While they were waiting for the food packaging to be finished, Lisa’s phone rang. Some unknown number was calling her phone.

Lisa thought it might be someone who was related to her company. Probably, he wanted to ask about something. So, she picked up the phone.

Lisa: “Hello?”

Unknown Number: “Hello, Miss Tang.”

The voice of the unknown number sounded like she or he was talking with some cloth on his or her mouth while she or he was talking. This person probably wanted to hide her or his real voice to avoid Lisa from recognising her or his voice. Meaning Lisa knew this person.

Lisa’s lips lifted up in the corner. ‘If you want to play, then bring on.’

Lisa: “Yes? Who is this?”

Unknown Number: “You don’t need to know me.”

Lisa: “Oh, I see. Then what do you want?”

Unknown Number: “I want to tell you that I have something dirty about you.”

Lisa did not respond to that person immediately. After a few second, she replied to that person.

Lisa: “Something dirty about me? I wonder what is it?”

Unknown Number: “Something that can destroy your reputation in front of everyone especially your boyfriend.”

The voice sounded so arrogant. But Lisa chuckled.

Lisa: “Well, why do I need to believe what you said? You might be lying to me.”

Unknown Number: “Then I will send something to you.”

Not long after that, the message came in. Lisa clicked to the message to see what had been sent by the unknown person.

In the message, there was a picture.

In the picture, there was Lisa with another man. The angle of this picture was taken making Lisa and the man look like they were kissing each other. The photographer of this picture really knew how to take the picture.

Sitting beside his beloved Lili, Jungkook also saw the same picture. His face changed. His expression became bad. The temperature around seemed to have decreased.

Then, the voice from the unknown number started to speak again.

Unknown number: “Miss Tang, do you get the picture?”

Lisa did not respond.

Unknown Number:’’ I’m guessing that you are looking at it.”

Lisa: “What do you want?”

Unknown Number: “Break up with Jeon Jungkook.”

This time, Lisa was laughing.

Lisa: “So, this is your aim?”

The person did not respond.

Lisa: “Nice try. But I have to disappoint you because I will never leave him for the rest of my life.”

Lisa did not wait for the person to reply back to her. She ended the call immediately.

Lisa turned and looked at Jungkook. He was also staring at her. His expression was not so bad as earlier.

“This picture is taken during my club activity. It is Mr Qin.” Lisa began to explain.

“Him?” The jealousy could be detected from Jungkook’s voice.

“That time, I just finished performing for my club. Suddenly he came and hugged me. I resisted. Then, he let me go. He apologized for hugging me like that. He said he had mistaken me for someone. This picture is taken from a certain angle which makes us look like, we are having a kiss.” Lisa explained.

“Really?” Jungkook looked at Lisa.

Lisa smiled. “You don’t need to worry. Since my heart already belongs to you.” Lisa gave a quick kiss on Jungkook’s cheek.

Sensing it was not enough for him, Jungkook made a sneak attack on her lips. Then he retreated. He licked his lips with his tongue while looking seductively at Lisa.

“Delicious.” Jungkook said.

‘This man. How dare he seduce me right now?’ Lisa glared at Jungkook.

Jungkook’s mood became better. He knew that his beloved Lili was a beautiful girl. He knew that men would like to get a woman like his beloved Lili. He just needed to believe his beloved Lili. But he could not help but to feel angry and jealous as he saw the picture.

“Stay away from him.” Jungkook gave a warning.

Lisa nodded obediently to Jungkook. She knew who Jungkook had meant by ‘him’.

“Good.” Jungkook smiled.

Their food was ready to take away. So, they went to Minwa Lake and having a picnic date there.

It was afternoon. So, there were not many people hanging up around the lake. Since the weather was very nice, they decided to sit on the ground directly. Then they had their lunch there.

“It is nice. The breeze is nice.” Jungkook said while enjoying the breeze.

Lisa also agreed with that. The breeze was indeed nice.

“I want to lay down.” Jungkook without any shame, put his head directly on Lisa’s lap.

Lisa did not have enough time to do anything. So, she just obediently let Jungkook lay on her lap.

“It is my blessing.”, Jungkook said happily. He closed his eyes. “Laying on my beloved’s lap.”

“Just keep quiet. It is embarrassing.” Lisa said with a red face.

Jungkook opened his eyes. Right now, he was staring up at Lisa’s face. The angle from where he had never looked at her. Since she was shorter than him, he always stared down at her. But right now, it was different.

“Even, from this angle, my beloved Lili is so beautiful.” Jungkook praised Lisa.

Lisa put her hand on Jungkook’s eyes blocking his view. Jungkook did not push the hand away. He just let her do that.

Jongin watched the couple from the far. He had never thought that her boyfriend was a good looking man who did not lose to him.

It made him wanting her more. Wanting to break the couple. Wanting to snatch her from the man. Jongin smiled while looking at the couple who was enjoying their time together.

The couple never knew that someone strongly wanted to break them. Someone who wanted to snatch the girl.

‘This is getting more and more interesting.’ Jongin left with his men.

In another place...

A girl was smirking while looking at her phone. The call that she had just made was a good plan. It was a good thing that she followed Lisa. It was a good thing that she managed to take a picture of Lisa with another man. It also was a good thing that the picture was taken from such a nice angle.

“Miss Tang, Miss Tang... Looks like your good reputation will be ending soon.” The girl laughed.

She took many pictures of them. One of them showed like they were having a kiss.

“You have a lot of men who wants you. You can leave Jungkook to me.” The girl talked to herself.

This time, she doubted that Lisa could clear her name. Nothing could prove her innocence. Anyone who graded her as someone good would think twice again after the pictures were spread.

The day was about to change to the night. Lisa actually still did not want to leave. She wanted to spend time with Jungkook.

“Kookie...” Lisa called Jungkook.

“Hmm...” Jungkook responded to her.

“Do you need to return back tonight?” The question came out from Lisa’s mouth. After she had asked, her face turned red. “No... You don’t need to answer that question.”

She did not expect that her mouth was acting faster than her brain. She actually just wanted to ask him in her mind only.

Jungkook was stunned for a moment. Then he was grinning happily. “I don’t need to return tonight. I can stay with you.”

Lisa smiled shyly.

They returned to the city. They went into a restaurant for dinner. The food is delicious. And eating with her boyfriend made the food become more delicious. After finishing dining, the couple decided to walk around to digest the food.

The city seemed too lively tonight. Lisa never spends time outside the university during the night. But she knew from her friends that it was quite normal for the weekend night to be lively. But it was very very lively. She wondered what made it like this.

Out of curiosity, she asked someone. That person said it was the night of the Peanut Festival. The farmers harvested a big amount of peanuts this year. So, they decided to celebrate it.

Lisa was interested to see what kind of festival. Usually, she was not interested in seeing this kind of festivals. She did not know why tonight she wanted to see it. Probably because of Jungkook beside him. She became more interested in normal things like this whenever she was with Jungkook.

“Lili, want to see?” Jungkook already saw Lisa’s eyes, telling him that she wanted to look around the festival.

“Can we?” Lisa asked.

“Anything for you, Lili. Let’s go.” Jungkook pulled Lisa closer to his body.

Since there were a lot of people, it was easy to lose in the crowd. So, to avoid that from happening, the best solution was to walk closer and held each other’s hands tightly.

“Okay.” Lisa nodded.

There were a lot of stalls selling the products based on the peanuts. Cake, snacks in various seasoning, cookies, even some of the dolls made up with peanut features sold here.

They also had some game stalls. Lisa’s eyes lit up when she saw something. She pulled Jungkook’s hand to go to the stalls. It was a shooting game stall. The game where they could win the items with shooting at that item. When the item fell down from its place, they could get the item.

Lisa was interested in the prize. The prize that reminded her of Jungkook.

“Which one are you interested in?” Jungkook asked in her ear since the sounds around them were very loud. If he asked normally, he was afraid that his beloved Lili would not hear his question.

“That one. The Chinese white dragon.” Lisa pointed to the white dragon doll. Its size was not too big or small. Enough to make people comfortable to hug it.

“I will try to get it for you.” Jungkook smiled.

Jungkook paid the money that chose a gun. He wanted to try the power of the gun first. He aimed at the white dragon doll and shot. The white dragon doll only moved a little bit. Seeing this, Lisa wanted Jungkook to give up since it was pretty hard to get the white dragon doll.

However, to her surprise, Jungkook paid more money. This time, he chose four guns. The onlookers also paid attention to Jungkook and Lisa at the shooting game stall. When the onlookers looked at the amount of the guns chosen, they laughed.

“He has picked 4 guns. I can understand if he picks two since we have two hands. But four? Does he want to shoot with his legs?” One of the onlookers laughed when he saw Jungkook had picked up 4 guns.

“ He is trying to impress his girlfriend.” Another onlooker said.

“Let him do it. Not like he used your money. He used his own money.” Another onlooker defended Jungkook. Of course, it was a girl.

Jungkook ignored everything that people said around it. His mission right now was to get the white dragon doll to his beloved Lili. That was the most important thing for him right now.

Jungkook took a breath. Jungkook held two guns with both hands. Other two were placed right in front of him. He shot the two guns at the same time. One gun could shoot three bullets. Right after he shot the third bullet, he quickly threw the two guns and grabbed the other two with incredible speed. He shot six other bullets.

Because of the momentum of the first six bullets, the white dragon doll already became unstable, with the last six bullets shot toward it, it fell backwards. The onlookers were very stunned by what they had seen.

The man succeeded in getting the white dragon doll. The owner of the shooting game stall was also dumbfounded with this.

“Sir, I have already won the doll. Can you give it to me?” A sentence from Jungkook made him realize that he needed to take the white dragon doll to give to the winner.

“Here is your prize.” The owner gave the white dragon doll to Jungkook.

Jungkook took and gave the doll to Lisa. “Here, this is for you.”

Actually, after Lisa and Jungkook left, there were a lot of couples who tried to get the prize using the method that Jungkook used. However, none of them had succeeded. Of course, they could not use the same method. If someone used the gun or used the guns on normal days, they might succeed.

Lisa was very happy with Jungkook’s gift. There was a reason why she was interested in the white dragon doll. The reason was it felt like Jungkook.’ 'Jeon' meant dragon in Chinese. The white dragon was kind of handsome as Jungkook. That was the reason.
