Maintain Your Position

Lisa opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was her Jungkook’s face. She did not get enough while looking at him.

Lisa lifted up her hand, wanted to touch his red lips. It was very soft. Lisa chuckled.

She did not realize that Jungkook had already woken up after her. She wanted to touch his lips again. When her fingers landed onto his lips, Jungkook suddenly opened his mouth caught her fingers.

“Ah!!” Lisa was shocked.

Jungkook smiled. He licked Lisa’s finger. Sensing her fingers had been licked by his tongue, she quickly pulled her hand away from Jungkook’s mouth.

“Delicious.” Jungkook said.

Jungkook pulled Lisa’s body closer to his body suddenly.

“It is still early. Let’s sleep more.” Jungkook’s voice was deep in the morning.

Lisa did not go against it. She closed her eyes again as her head laid beside Jungkook’s chest. She could hear the sound of Jungkook’s heartbeat. It was a very pleasant sound to be heard. As she could sniff the lotus fragrance. The scent was enough to make Lisa relax and she entered the dreamland once again.

“Lili, wake up, my dear.”

Lisa could hear someone had been calling her name. The only one who used that nickname was Jungkook. Lisa slowly opened her eyes.

Jungkook was already fully dressed up. Lisa slowly sat on the bed while she brushed her eyes like a lazy cat.

Jungkook smiled gently while looking at his beloved Lili. His beloved Lili’s state after waking up from sleep somehow was very cute to see.

“Refresh up. I have already ordered the room service for breakfast.” Jungkook said.

‘Hmm...” Lisa nodded. She slowly went to the bathroom.

After she had finished dressing up, the breakfast had already been served. The two of them ate breakfast peacefully.

“I have already been called by the military.” Jungkook stated after they finished breakfast.

“Oh.” Lisa replied with a sad tone. She did not intend to let it out but it came out.

“I will come to see you after I come back.” Jungkook smiled. He knew his beloved Lili was sad hearing that he would be leaving.

“I will be waiting for you.” Lisa nodded.

“Okay. Let me send you back. Don’t forget your white dragon doll.” Jungkook pointed to the white dragon doll which he had thrown yesterday.

“Okay.”

Lisa entered the space as soon as she returned to her room. She had already called Aoi about her return. The dog was already waiting for her in front of the room when she arrived at the room.

“As I promised, I will compensate you.” Lisa went straight to the kitchen. She wanted to prepare some food for her two little cuties.

“Hurray!!!” Bo Ya shouted excitedly.

Lisa laughed when she heard Bo Ya had shouted excitedly as he heard that his master wanted to cook food for them.

After one hour and forty minutes of cooking, three meat dishes and two kinds of soup finished and served. Her two little cuties waited for Lisa’s signal. After getting the signal from Lisa, the two of them started to eat.

Lisa was not hungry so she went to her room. She opened the computer. Today she had a mission. To give something to someone.

Lisa already knew the person who had tried to blackmail her. The person was no other person. It was Nancy. She was the only who had motives like that.

Lisa saved the number that Nancy had used to call her to blackmail her. From the system, the number had been deactivated after been used once. Lisa praised Nancy for being clever once again.

But it was not enough for Lisa. Lisa already got the real number of Nancy. She hacked Nancy’s phone. She wanted to delete the pictures that Nancy captured which had Mingyu with her.

Lisa smiled when she found the pictures. Turned out, Nancy captured a lot of the pictures of her and Mingyu. Nancy had also captured the picture where Mingyu hugged her.

Lisa did not realize that someone was nearby them that day. She probably let down her guard as she paid her attention to Mingyu that day. Mingyu was acting weirdly that day so she was kind of worried about Mingyu.

She deleted the pictures. Since the phone was linked to her another electronic device, she checked all of them in case Nancy copied the pictures. Luckily for her, Nancy did not copy the pictures to any device.

As Lisa went through Nancy’s device, she crossed something unbelievable. There were a few videos. The content of the videos was very disgusting. She did not expect that Nancy had already started to be cunning in this lifetime.

Lisa’s eyes lifted up. Her lips displayed a cold smile. Her mind already crafted something bad for Nancy. Nancy wanted to use the picture of her and Mingyu in order to destroy her reputation in public. Nancy thought after seeing the pictures, Jungkook would hate and leave Lisa.

Then how about this when she would be placed in that situation? What would she do then? As she asked the questions to herself, she copied all of the videos. After she deleted the videos inside Nancy’s phone.

The next day, the university exploded with the news that a student slept with her lecturers in order to get good marks.

The several videos had been uploaded onto the University’s forum. The face of the people in the videos could be seen clearly. The student was Nancy. And the men were the lecturers who taught the subjects in the psychology course.

Nancy got ready to go the class. Her roommate threw some glance at her. She was not close to her roommate but the relationship was not so bad. However, she could feel some difference in the glances of her roommate.

The roommate left the room separately. Like she said, even though she was not close to her roommate, they often left the room at the same time. Just now, her roommate seemed eager to leave the room.

Probably her roommate had some urgent matter to do. She thought positively. The moment she got out from her room, some of the students who had come out from the opposite room were stunned after seeing her.

Nancy smiled at them. “Good morning.”

Usually, if they run into the morning, they would greet each other. But this morning she did not get the greetings back but they also gave her an ambiguous glance.

‘What happen today?’ Nancy asked herself.

It was not her being weird here. There were other students. They kept looking at her. On the way to the class, she saw Sihyeon. She quickly approached Sihyeon.

However, as soon as Sihyeon saw Nancy, she walked faster until Nancy did not manage to catch her. She did not want to be seen together with Nancy. Otherwise, she would also be labelled like that.

“Sihyeon” Nancy called Sihyeon hoping for her to stop but she did not even turn around to look at Nancy.

Nancy knew that Sihyeon heard her calling her name. It was like everyone was avoiding her. When she walked into the class, someone talked to her.

“Good morning.”

“Good morning.” Nancy smiled.

“You are really a white lotus, aren’t you? “

Nancy could hear the mocking tone in the girl’s voice.

“What do you mean by that?” Nancy looked at the girl. She knew the girl. It was her coursemate, Ye Yu Lan.

“You really do not feel shame after everything that has happened since you dare to come to the class?” Ye Yu Lan said.

“Shame?” Nancy did not get the point.

“Why don’t you look at the university’s forum? Look how glorious you are.” Ye Yu Lan was mocking her.

Nancy looked at the university’s forum. The videos about her were exploded. The students were commenting about it. Some of the comments were humiliating her.

‘I know her. Never thought she is such a bitch.’

‘She always acts like she is a saint.’

‘Such a white lotus.’

‘But the lecturers are also wrong. How could they take bribe like that?’

‘Disgusting.’

‘She and the lecturers should be removed from the university.’

Nancy, of course, knew the videos. It was indeed hers together with the lecturers. But no one would know these videos. Even the lecturers did not know the existence of these videos.

She was very careful with her belongings. It was not making sense since she did not leave her phone in the open place. Even when she would go to have a bath, she would lock the phone inside her locker.

“Bitch.”

“Shameless.”

“White lotus bitch.”

“Shut up.” Nancy screamed.

Her rage outbursted making her classmates looked at her with obvious disgust. She was the one the doing the disgusting thing. Now she was angry at them. How laughable.

“Nancy, you are being called by the dean. Well, you know why...” A student at the door called for Nancy.

Nancy held back her anger. She needed to deal with this matter first. She needed to make up some lies for this.

As she walked to the dean’s office, she met other eyes who gave her many kinds of a glance.

“She is the girl in those videos.”

“I knew that she is one of the top students in her course. Never thought she would get that through something like that.”

Nancy walked very fast. She did not want to hear something like this anymore. The faster she got into the dean’s office, the faster she could get out from this problem.

“Yo, Miss Famous.”

Nancy was blocked by two girls. She looked up. She knew these girls. They were friends of Lisa. Ryujin and Irene smirked at Nancy.

“What do you want?” Nancy asked while grinding her teeth.

“Nothing. I just want to greet you. That’s all.” Ryujin grinned.

Nancy looked around. The person whom she wanted to find was not here. She was looking for Lisa. She thought Lisa would be around but she did not see her around. She did not want Lisa to see her in this state.

Ignoring Ryujin and Irene, Nancy left the place. She arrived at the dean’s office.

The secretary of the dean looked up and down at her. The secretary knew why was this student had been called by her boss.

“Miss Nancy, right?” The secretary already knew her but still asked for the confirmation.

“Yeah.” Nancy nodded.

“Wait here. I will inform the dean about you.” The secretary called the dean.

After getting confirmation, the secretary said to Nancy. “You can enter now.”

The dean looked at the girl who had just entered his room with a complicated look. This was the first time that something like this had happened under his management.

Nancy just stood there with her face faced downwards. She needed to handle it properly. Starting from the dean. She needed to have the dean pitying her in order to escape this problem.

She gave off the aura that she was a weak girl that needed some protection from others. Her face showed the expression that she had been wronged by someone.

“Miss Fung, you know why have you been called here?” The dean asked.

Without lifting up her face, she nodded. When the dean saw the nod, he could saw the expression on her face. It was a sad expression. She had bitten her own lips while holding back the tears.

“Tell me then.” The dean wanted to hear it from Nancy’s mouth.

“I have been forced.” Nancy said in the pitiful tone.

If Lisa was here and listened to this, she might think Nancy should be an actress since she was very good at acting.

“Oh, really? The lecturers who were involved told me that you had suggested it.” The dean’s finger was clicking the pen which he had been holding to.

“No. Of course not.” Nancy quickly denied it.

“Oh, really?” The dean smirked.

Nancy nodded seriously. She needed to convince the dean.

“Then, I will give you a chance. This middle semester break, I want you to maintain your place as the top student in your course.” The dean suggested.

“Huh?” Nancy looked at the dean with surprise expression.

“Well, the rumour tells that you sleep with the lecturers to maintain the position as the top student. So, if you manage to maintain your result, the university will believe you. We will punish the lecturers by dismissing the lecturers and ban them from working as a lecturer in any university.’’ The dean told Nancy the solution. He then continued again. “But if the result shows otherwise, the university will expel you and report you to the Ministry of Education.”

Nancy did not expect that the dean would be giving this kind of solution. She thought that he would be pitying her since she acted like she had been wronged and the dean would be by her side. But now, the suggestion had made her almost bit her tongue. Maintaining her position as the top student? That might a little bit difficult for her.

However, she needed to accept it. “Yes, sir. I will do it.” She needed to think positively. She had time to study. She had about two months to study hard. Her actual result was not so very bad.

“What do you think about that?” Ryujin asked.

“About what?” Momo looked at Ryujin.

“Of course about that white lotus, Nancy.” Irene smirked.

They were currently sitting in the library. They had already finished discussing a project group.

“Probably she will be expelled?” Momo made an assumption.

“Yeah.” Irene nodded.

“But the person who has posted the video is also terrifying.” Jisoo gave the comment.

“Well... That person might hate Nancy or something like that. Because they knew something like this will destroy her reputation forever.” Irene said her analysis.

“Yeah. The same thing happened to our Lisa here. But fortunately, Lisa had handled it quite well.” Ryujin patted Lisa’s shoulder who was just listening to their conversations without interrupting them.

“If you did not do it, you will be fine and you have to find the evidence that you did not do it. Otherwise...” Lisa did not need to complete the sentence, her friends understood it.

They heard a sound. Ryujin reached her phone. It was a message from someone. She opened and read it. Then she was excited.

“Girls, listen to this. My cousin said the dean gave Nancy a chance to prove her innocence. The dean told Nancy to maintain her position in the mid-semester test as the top student in her course. If she fails to do so, she will be expelled and the case will be handed over to the Ministry of Education.” Ryujin told them.

“Where do you get this information? This kind of information is only for certain people who can get access to it.” Jisoo said.

“Well, my cousin is a secretary of that dean. So, she has to record the decision made by the dean.” Ryujin grinned.

“Well, she just needs to maintain her position and she is clear? And how about the video?” Momo asked.

“I assume she told the dean that she had been forced by the lecturers. Others believed that she got the best result in her study by sleeping with the lecturers. If she manages to maintain her position meaning she is telling the truth about the lecturers forcing her to sleep with them.” Lisa already knew the possibility of this outcome.

“Mid-semester test is about two months away. If she studies very well, she might can. She has the ability since she has gotten accepted into Starlight University.” Jisoo told her opinion.

“But do you think you can study well if you are in stress?” Lisa smirked.

“Of course not.” Ryujin answered. Then she made an ‘O’ with her mouth. “You mean...”

“Wait! What?” Momo did not get the meaning.

“I bet she will not able to study well in this period. People will look at her. Talking behind her. Avoiding her. I’m sure that kind of situation will give stress to a person. Well, it might not apply to Nancy. You know.” Lisa smiled.
