three days before Xingqiu's birthday

Chongyun and Xingqiu started dating a few weeks before Chongyun's birthday, Chongyun still remembers how many gifts Xingqiu got him. And how amazing that whole day was, so now. He wanted to return the favour. "Morning Chongyun! What brings you here to wanmin? And without Xingqiu?" Chongyun though about how he would explain everything to Xiangling without her instantly teasing him. But of course, he forgot everything the moment Xiangling spoke to him. "I uhm- reservations for Friday are open?" Xiangling giggled and his nervousness, and gave him a popsicle. "Calm down, you want to make reservations for Xingqiu's birthday right?" Chongyun nodded as he was eating the popsicle. "Alright, you guys can have out back to yourself's. And then meal will be on the house!" Chongyun felt bad for not paying, but the more mora he has the more he can spoil Xingqiu right? "Alright, thank you Xiangling!" "Anything for my best friends!!" Chongyun hugged Xiangling before running out to a book store. "Now what would Xingqiu like..." the next hour was spent looking and books and trying to remember what books Xingqiu liked, didn't like, and already had. Chongyun bought ten books in total and left to go relax at home.

two days before Xingqiu's birthday

Chongyun has plans to buy Xingqiu and him matching suits, casual outfits, and pj's. Xingqiu and Chongyun always had sleepovers with Xiangling and they would always try matching together, Chongyun remembered a day when Xiangling said him and Xingqiu should get "cute matching couple outfits" so he thought today would be the day he would buy those matching outfits. Chongyun spend one hour in five stores trying to find the perfect outfits for them, after he found some clothes he thought would look good on them both he went home.

one day before Xingqiu's birthday

Chongyun had seen Xingqiu looking for books from inazuma, and books that were made in Sumeru. He remembered Xingqiu complaining how expensive it was to not only buy the books, but how expensive it would be to get them shipped to liyue. Chongyun convinced Xingqiu not to buy them, little did Xingqiu know that Chongyun what buying them for him. Today he had to pick the books up, and hide them from Xingqiu since he was coming over to Chongyun's house along with Xiangling. Chongyun has to basically run to the harbour, pick up the books, and sprint as fast as he could back home to hide the books and seem like he had been there the whole time. As soon and Chongyun got home he hid the books and heard a knock on the door. "Hello yunyun! How are you today?" Xingqiu greeted Chongyun with a hug and kiss, "I'm doing great! How about you Qui?" Xiangling just invited herself in, knowing Chongyun and Xingqiu would be spending at least two minutes at the front. The rest of the day was just the three of them watching movies, cuddling, and baking.

Xingqiu's birthday

Chongyun and Xiangling woke up before Xingqiu, Xiangling was making everyone breakfast in bed. While Chongyun's job was to distract Xingqiu if he woke up early, luckily he didn't. But now Chongyun has to deal with the embarrassment of waking up Xingqiu. "Qiu, wake up~ it's your birthday!!" Xingqiu rubbed his eyes, " good morning yunyun.. morning Xiangling" Xiangling put there breakfast on the bed "happy birthday Xingqiu!!" "Thank you For the breakfast Xiangling!" Xiangling nodded, then looked at the time. "I would love to eat with you two but I gotta get to wanmin! I have some *very* important guests coming later today!" This was apart of there plan, Xiangling was supposed to go into wanmin and prepare there seating area. "Ah, alright. Good luck with these guests!" " thank you Xingqiu!" Xiangling then rushed out and left Chongyun and Xingqiu alone. "Xingqiu, finish up your breakfast and then meet me downstairs alright?" Before Xingqiu could question Chongyun he ran downstairs to start setting up the first gift, after about ten minutes Chongyun set up all fifteen books he got for Xingqiu, put his first matching outfit in the bathroom next to the kitchen, and he changed. "yunyun, I'm don-" Xingqiu saw all the books and Chongyun with a card in his hand. Xingqiu walked to the books to look at them all. "Yunyun.. you didn't have to do all this!" Chongyun then gave Xingqiu the card he was holding. "What is this?" "Just read it!" Xingqiu read the card, looked at Chongyun confused, then went into the bathroom. Five minutes later Xingqiu walked out "so you got matching outfits huh?" "Do you like them?" "Of course I do yunyun!" Chongyun then grabbed Xingqiu's hand and started walking to the door. "You ready to have the best day ever qui?" "Ready as I'll ever be yunyun" they then walked around liyue, talking. Chongyun was just trying to pass the time, he didn't plan much other than dinner and gifts. But then came dinner time, Chongyun took Xingqiu back to his house, and gave him his next gift "yunyun, how many gifts did you get me?" "Don't worry about it! Just hurry up and change into that!! You're gonna make us late!" Xingqiu looked at Chongyun confused, but still listened to him and hurried up. "Qiu hurry up!! We're gonna be late!" "Yunyun... do I have to wear this?" "Oh I'm sure you look fine!! Just hurry up already!" Xingqiu then walked out, Chongyun didn't really get a good look at Xingqiu because they needed to rush to wanmin. "About time you two!! Follow me!" Xiangling lead them outside to the back patio "your food is on its way! Enjoy love birds~" Xiangling skipped away leaving them alone "yunyun, you really did the most huh.." Xingqiu said as he looked around in awe, there were flowers and plants everywhere, there table had a candle with two cups and a birthday card for Xingqiu from everyone working that day. "Of course Qui! Today is a special day after all!" Xingqiu and Chongyun then enjoyed dinner and went on one last walk around liyue watching the sunset
