Y/n had been in the maze for years, just like the rest of the Gladers. As the only girl in the group, she had formed close bonds with the boys and had become like family to them. Together, they had navigated the maze, fought off Grievers, and tried to find a way out of their prison.

Over the years, Y/n had seen many greenies come and go, but there was one in particular who had caught her eye - Thomas. She admired his courage and leadership, and found herself drawn to him in ways she couldn't explain.

But then Teresa arrived, and everything changed. Thomas started to focus his attention on her, and Y/n couldn't help but feel jealous. She tried to hide her feelings, but it was hard when she saw Thomas and Teresa together all the time.

One day, the Gladers received news that the final greenie was on his way. Everyone was excited, but Y/n couldn't shake the feeling that this new arrival would be a girl. She had always been the only girl in the Glade, and the thought of having competition made her uneasy.

When the new greenie finally arrived, Y/n's worst fears were confirmed. It was a girl - and a beautiful one at that. Y/n watched as the other Gladers fawned over her, eager to welcome her to the Glade.

That night, Y/n couldn't keep her emotions bottled up any longer. She went to the Homestead, where Minho and Newt were sitting around a fire. They noticed her distress and asked what was wrong.

Y/n broke down, confessing that she was in love with Thomas and that she was jealous of the new girl. Minho and Newt listened sympathetically, offering words of comfort and support. Y/n knew that she could always count on them, even if she couldn't count on Thomas's affection.
