The Siege of Mandalore Begins

Three Venators approached the planet Mandalore and quickly deployed Gunships, including ones carrying AT-TE Walkers and Gauntlet Starfighters. In one of the Gunships was Ahsoka, Rex, Bo-Katan, Arc Trooper Clone Jesse, and a few other Clones and Mandalorians. Rex's comlink went off, with the Clone on the other end stating, "Commander, I have Prime Minister Almec of Mandalore on the com."

Rex told him, "Put him threw."

A hologram of said Prime Minister soon appeared in the Gunship, with him asking, "What is the meaning of this invasion? The Republic's presence here is direct violation of our treaty!"

Bo-Katan stepped forward and told him, "Your time has come, Almec." She pointed at him, "We know your Maul's puppet and we are coming for him."

Almec laughed, "Ah, mistress Bo-Katan. The traitor." He crossed his arms, "I should have known you were behind this incursion. Siding with the Republic will make you an enemy in the eyes of the people."

"I'm fine with that."

After the hologram transmission ended, Ahsoka turned to Bo-Katan and said, "You're nothing like your sister."

In the throne room in Sundari, many Mandalorians loyal to Maul, clad in red Mandalorian armor as opposed to the usual blue, were repairing for battle. With the two leading Mandalorians the Human male Gar Saxon and the Human female Rook, alongside the former commanding officers of Team Galactic, Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter were meeting with Almec at the throne. Almec was giving them their orders, "Saxon, prepare our forces for an all-out attack." He pointed to Rook, "Rook, inform the Syndicate of the invasion." He then pointed to the Team Galactic officers, "Saturn, Mars, Jupiter, prepare the throne room for battle."

Saturn saluted, "Yes sir."

As Rook and the Galactic Officers headed out to do their missions, Saxon told him, "It's been a while since we had a fight like this. Are you ready?"

As the Republic and Mandalorian forces continued to approach the capital, Bo-Katan activated her holocomlink, causing another female Mandalorian to appear on the hologram on her wrist. Bo-Katan then asked, "Ursa, can you confirm the target's location?"

The Mandalorian Ursa replied, "I can only confirm that Maul has not left the city. All other attempts to locate him have been blocked. Saxon is already scrabbling his defenses."

The group soon had confirmation of this, as their Gunship shaked, from the other Gunship nearby them exploding, having been hit by missiles. Their Clone Piolet stated, "We've got incoming."

As the ships in the air started taking evasive actions to dodge the missiles, Ahsoka and the other Gunship opened their doors so they could see what was happening. The first saw another Gunship get hit and go down. All the remaining Gunships opened their doors, allowing the Night Owl Mandalorians inside to take flight with their jetpacks, and the Clones to take up defensive battle positions. The Gunships began to return fire in the direction of the missile. As they did, Night Owls flew ahead and finally got a look at where the missiles were coming from; Maul's Death Watch Mandalorians, who were flying at them and launching missiles from their jetpacks. The Night Owls took evasive actions to dodge their incoming foes, who were now using their blasters to fire at them too.

Three members of Death Watch, two females and one male approached a Gunship, one of the females on the right, and the other two on the left. They started firing at the Clones inside, with the three Clones returning fire, two doing so on the left and the other one on the right. Both females shot down a Clone on their side. While the remaining Clone on the left shot down the female Death Watch member on his side, the other jumped into the Gunship hit him in the back of the head with her arm, and then kicked him out of the Gunship. The male Death Watch member then joined her in commandeering the Gunship.
