Dawn, Serena, and Goh's Adventures of Star Wars: The Siege of Mandalore

Return of a Friend

In the Astromech storage room, Ahsoka, Dawn, her Piplup, Serena, her Braxien and Slyveon, Goh, his Sobble and Falinks, R7, RG-G1, and CH-33P were preparing to make their moves, the doors to the room slid open. When they did, the group saw Hawk, before he could aim his blaster at them, Ahsoka quickly used the Force to push him into the wall behind him, knocking him out. Dawn said after that, "Well, we found our first Clone to help."

Serena added, "And lucky for us it's Hawk."

Goh stated, "A good friend and a good pilot, which will come in handy to get us off this ship."

Ahsoka told them, "You all get him to one of the nearest medical bays on the ship and remove his Inhibitor Chip. Me and the Droids will go after Rex and try to get him back."

The girls nodded, but Goh raised his arm to say, "Actually, would you mind if I stayed in this room and try to get through on the Republic communications network, to see if I can get in touch with anyone else to see if they might be able to help us."

Ahsoka nodded, "That's a good idea. We have to find out how widespread this whole thing is."

Dawn told him, "Good luck, Goh."

As the three groups got ready to move, Ahsoka added, "Oh, also, be extra careful out there. I had to release Maul so he could act as a distraction so I could find you guys and figure out Rex's clue."

The three Trainers looked shocked, with Dawn shouting, "What! Now we have to deal with that chaotic monster again!?"

Serena asked, "Please tell me you at least didn't give him a Lightsaber?"

The former Jedi shook her head, "Of course not. I want him to be as weak as possible so that hopefully he gets killed after he served his purpose."

Dawn jumped back in, "That is the only thing a monster like him deserves."

Goh sighed a bit, "Well, at least without a Lightsaber he's weaker so if we do run into him, he'll be easier to fight and defeat."

After this, the three groups spilt off, with Dawn and Serena picking up the unconscious Hawk.

A little while later, down a hallway, several Clones were rushing down it, with Rex right behind them. As the troops passed a corridor, R7 and CH-33P came out, with R7 block Rex. When Rex rammed into the Droid, he told it, "Hey, out of the way!" At the same time, CH-33P went over to a nearby console and patched into it, causing the doors in front of him, behind him, and on his right to lose, cutting him off from his Troops. Rex turned to the Droids, "Are you cross-wired!?"

R7 then displayed a hologram recording of Ahsoka, which began to say, "Rex, I think I know what's happening. I saw your report on Fives. It isn't you're fault. You were programmed. Your mind was altered to do this when you were very young. I can help you."

When the hologram ended, Rex aimed one of his blasters at R7 and asked, "'Where is she!?"

Before the Droid could answer, Ahsoka and PG-G1 came from behind from the left hallway, and Ahsoka said, "I'm right here." He turned to face her, but when he did, R7 electrocuted him to knock him out. When he fell to the floor, Ahsoka told them, "Careful. We're trying not to hurt him."

The group then heard the Clones from behind the doors saying, "Bring the charges."

Ahsoka turned to CH-33P and asked, "Cheep, are all the doors sealed so the way is cleared?" The Droid threw its extending arm up and beeped. Ahsoka nodded, "Okay, let's get him to the nearest medical bay." She picked up Rex, placed him on top of the Droids, and they all began to move, as the Clones began to cut through the sealed doors.

Meanwhile, in the Astromech storage room, Goh was frantically typing and shouting into the communication console, "Hello!? Does anybody read me!? This is Goh. Pokemon Traner a part of the detachment that was sent to Mandalore, we have an emergency! Hello!? Is anybody out there!? Ash? Pooh Bear? Twilight? Yuya? Obi-Wan? Anakin? Commander Cody? Plo Koon? Commander Wolffe? Master Yoda? Mace Windu? Bo-Katan? Lincoln? Lori? Lana? Kit Fisto? Aayla Secura? Commander Bly? Admiral Yularen? Admiral Coburn? Anyone!?" He slammed his head down on the table in frustration.

His loyal Pokemon Sobble, who was perched on his head, started to pat his head and compassionately said, "Sob. Sob."

Goh's head rose up and he replied, "Thanks, Sobble. And you're right. I can't give up! So many friends and allies in the Republic are counting on me! I have to see if anyone else has been affected, how widespread this is, and if anyone can come and give us some help! I just hope the others are having better luck than me right now."

Back with Ahsoka, she, the Droids, and the unconscious Rex were now in a medical bay. The group had removed Rex's helmet and had set him down on the medical bed. Ahsoka was pushing buttons on the console on the end of the bed, while saying, "R7, run a scan. See if you can find the Inhibitor Chip the report talked about." The Droid plugged into the console and start making beeping noises. An FX-7 Medical Assistant Droid in the room soon came online and began to examine Rex's head. The display screen showed Rex's head, but with no sign of the chip, "But the chip has to be there. Check again!" R7 began to beep as they and the FX-7 Droid scanned again. Just outside the closed medical bay doors, 501st Clones with Ahsoka's symbol began to work on prying the doors open. Cheep, who was monitoring the door controls inside the medical bay noticed this and began to beep frantically. Ahsoka turned to them and urgently asked, "How close are they?" The Droid gave some worrying beeps. The former Jedi turned to PG-G1, "G-G, if they override the door controls you have to seal it fast!" G-G beeped and headed over to take their place by the door control. Ahsoka turned back to R7, "R7, anything!?" The Droid nodded its dome head and beeped. As the Clones outside got closer to unlocking the door, Ahsoka went over to Rex, placed her hands on his head, closed her eyes, and began to focus, while chanting, "I am one with the Force and the Force is with one." She repeated this mantra four more times, with Rex, while still unconscious, also repeating it. After this, the Inhibitor Chip appeared on the screen displaying the inside of Rex's head. R7 was quick to beep about this to get Ahsoka's attention. She walked back over, "You found it?" Taking a look at the monitor, she saw the hip. She then turned back to R7, "R7, get him under and remove that thing." R7 let out some beeps and Ashoka replied, "I don't know if it will work, but if it doesn't we're dead anyway." The bed Rex was on, extended into the medical chamber. As this happened, the Clones started to breach the doors, with the sparking door gaining the attention of Ahsoka and the Droids not working on removing the Inhibitor Chip. Ahsoka turned to G-G and said, "Get ready on the door." G-G plugged into the nearby console and took position, with Ahsoka activating her Lightsabers. Eventually, the Clone outside pried open the door and lifted it up, allowing two Clones to come in and start shooting. Ahsoka managed to deflect the shots away, before using her hands to Force Push the two out of the room, only for two more to come in and start shooting. As R7 finished up their work, Rex began to stir. While he did, Ahsoka kept deflecting shots, before using the Force with her left hand to slam one of the Clones up into the top of the doorway, while using the Force with her right hand to slam the other into the side of the doorway. Now with them both disoriented, Ahsoka could Force Push them out of the room and right into some other Clones. However, two more Clones just popped in the doorway from the other side and opened fire. Over by Rex, he slowly started reaching for his pistols. Ahsoka kept deflecting shots and backing up, but one nailed him in the left shoulder, causing him to stagger back and drop her left saber. Then another Clone rushed in and fired it. As she struggled to deflect all the shots with just one saber, Ahsoka turned to G-G and panickingly shouted, "The door! G-G, the door!" The Droid frantically tried to shut them down, as Ahsoka was getting overwhelmed. Just then, Rex stood up and fired his pistols, killing the three Clones firing and the one holding up the door with chest shots. With the Clones out of the doorway, G-G could finally finish closing the door before more could rush in. G-G and Cheep then got to work wielding the door shut. While this happened, Ahsoka turned around to Rex and asked, "Rex, are you okay?"

The Clone, who looked like he was in anguish, managed to reply, "Yeah. Yeah, kid, I'm okay." He then looked apologetically, "Sorry for what happened earlier. I almost killed you."

She then asked him, "How widespread is this?"

"Ahsoka, it's all of us. The entire Grand Army of the Republic has been ordered to hunt down and destroy the Jedi Knights." As the two began to look worried, the worriness only grew as they turned to see the Clones beginning to cut through the doors again, with the Astromechs backing up in fright.
