EPILOGUE 1 [SWEET]: Domestic Bliss

A/N: Hello dear readers, I am back! I got so many requests here as well as on Ao3 for MORE that I decided to add on to Boss & Noeul's fictional love story with at least 2 more epilogues. I decided to do one that is SWEET and one that has HEAT!

EPILOGUE 1 (this one) is the SWEET version (i.e. no sex scenes) for those of you who don't care for that stuff ( I don't get it but ok! :). I've tried to incorporate some requests that I got. Hope you like!

EPILOGUE 2 will have HEAT - some spicy sex scenes now that they are back together. Please feel free to skip if that it isn't your cup of tea.

**** BOSS ****

A feeling of contentment suffuses him even before he actually awakens, while the warmth of the naked body cuddled next to him slowly filters through his consciousness.

He becomes aware of the smooth leg entangled intimately between his and the possessive arm draped over his chest.

Before he opens his eyes, he inhales the strawberry shampoo fragrance that is emanating from the silky hair on the head that is nestled into his shoulder.

Sometime during the night, the bedcovers were pushed down despite it being cooler this December day. The three older cats are curled up in the bed amongst their limbs, seeking warmth, while the two younger fur babies are relegated to the cozy pet bed on the floor.

Boss still can't believe that Noeul is in his arms again, that he gets to wake up next to him every day.

His heart starts pumping as he remembers all the things, they did last night before finally falling into an exhausted sleep.

He kisses Noeul lingeringly on the forehead even though he is still fast asleep. They both like to sleep in - rarely getting up before noon on weekends.

Boss, however, always manages to get up a bit before Noeul to savor these quiet, serene moments and imprint them into his long-term memory. 

Boss can just make out the trickle of the water that flows through the backyard of his riverfront home. This is where they spend weekends unwinding from the busy work week and getting away from the hustle and bustle of central Bangkok.

Boss carefully untangles himself from the bedcovers and Noeul's limbs to sneak out of bed. He slips on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and ties back his long hair. His cat Maruay also rises, following him devotedly out of bed while Varain and Gazelle snuggle deeper into the bed covers trying to get closer to their dad.

Over the past three months, they have slowly been meshing their lives together, figuring out a rhythm that works for them. On the one hand, they wanted to take things cautiously, but on the other hand, couldn't bear to be apart now that they found their way back to each other.

The day after they had gotten back together, Boss confessed his love for Noeul to Achara and asked for her forgiveness.  It was a difficult conversation as she had developed stronger feelings for him with the hope of something more permanent eventually happening. At the same time, Boss had been upfront about his feelings for Noeul upon learning of his return weeks before, so it hadn't been a complete surprise to her.

They stay in Noeul's apartment during the week which is closer to his office and go on dates to get to know each other again. They openly share all that they have been through in the last few years both in their careers and in their personal relationships. They have come to understand the ups and downs that each has gone through to get to where they are today.
