Sherlock and Mihaela arrived at Buckingham Palace early in the morning, both of them dressed in their finest attire. However, as they walked through the gates, they noticed that something seemed off about Sherlock.
"Sherlock, is everything okay?" Mihaela asked, noticing that he was not wearing any clothes beneath his coat.
"I'm fine, Mihaela. I just had a bit of a mishap with my clothing this morning," Sherlock replied, trying to play it off nonchalantly.
Mihaela raised an eyebrow but decided not to press the issue. They continued walking until they reached the entrance, where they were greeted by John Watson.
"Sherlock, Mihaela, what are you doing here?" John asked, surprised to see them.
"We received a case from the queen herself," Sherlock explained. "She requested our assistance in solving a mystery within the palace walls."
John nodded, leading them inside. As they walked through the grand halls, Sherlock couldn't help but feel self-conscious about his lack of clothing. He tried to keep his coat wrapped tightly around him, hoping no one would notice.
As they reached the queen's chambers, she greeted them warmly. "Thank you for coming, Mr. Holmes, Dr. Watson, and Miss Mihaela," she said.
"Your Majesty, what can we do for you?" Sherlock asked, trying to focus on the case and not his current state of undress.
"I have received several threats on my life, and I fear for my safety. I believe someone within the palace walls is behind it," the queen explained.
Sherlock nodded, his mind already racing with ideas. "Leave it to us, Your Majesty. We will get to the bottom of this," he promised.
The three of them spent the next few days thoroughly investigating the palace, questioning staff and searching for any clues. Eventually, they discovered that a disgruntled servant was behind the threats, and they were able to bring the perpetrator to justice.
As they left the palace, Sherlock couldn't help but feel relieved that the case was finally over. "I can't wait to get home and put on some proper clothes," he said, finally able to relax now that the investigation was complete.
Mihaela chuckled. "I'm just glad we were able to solve the case and keep the queen safe. And who knows, maybe the bed sheet look will become your new signature style."
Sherlock rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile at his friends' teasing. He was just grateful that they were able to complete the case without any further mishaps.
