Rosalie was the kind of girl everyone wanted to be around. Mostly because they wanted to be her. She was kind. The type of kind that gave the homeless man her lunch money even if it meant she wasn't eating until she got home that day. She was smart. Straight A's in honors classes smart. Rose was bold. Stand up and tell you exactly what she thought, bold.
But Rosalie was also depressed. On meds and In therapy. Rose was being abused at home and no one knew. She never spoke up. Because her boldness didn't extend far enough to save herself. So when she was no longer a living person, the whole school couldn't tell you why Rosalie Kane took her own life. Because we all thought she was happy.
