Tohka locked herself inside her room.
Y/n: Tohka.
Tohka: Leave me alone. I don't want to talk to you!
Y/n: It's okay. I'm not here to talk.
Tohka:...
Y/n: I'm just honoring my promise by being here. I'll stay here for as long as it takes until you want to talk.
They sat with their back on the door.
Shido was near the building where the incident happened. It was still raining but he had his umbrella this time. And he saw her again.
Shido: Yoshinon?
The girl got startled while she was searching for something, she didn't have her puppet.
Shido: Calm down. I won't do anything. What happened to your puppet? Are you looking for it?
Yoshino explained.
Shido: I see. You lost it after AST attacked you yesterday? There you have it. Any idea where it is?
Kotori: We're analysing our mission footage. We want her feelings to be focused solely on you, so we can't support you directly. We'll support you as much as possible with the search though.
Shido: All right, let's go look for it, Yoshinon.
Yoshino: M-My name isn't Yoshinon it's Yoshino. Yoshinon is my friend.
Shido: Yoshino? I see. Hang on. Use this. You might already be wet, but this is better than nothing.
He held out his umbrella for her.
Yoshino: No problem.
Shido: I'm fine. Go ahead and use it.
Yoshino: Thanks.
Shido: Sure. Yoshino, are you hungry? How about taking a break and getting something to eat?
Kotori: It'd be a good chance to ask her a few questions.
Shido: I guess you're right, but all of the stores in the area look like they're closed. Do you want to come to my house, Yoshino?
They arrived at home. Shido cooked for her and she ate his delicious food.
Y/n felt something on the other side of the door.
Y/n: Ready to talk?
Tohka:... Hm.
Y/n: First of all, I know you love Shido, I understand.
Tohka: Love...?
Y/n: You care about him, he makes you feel good and you always want to be by his side.
Tohka: I... love Shido.
Y/n: That's right. Now, Shido cares about you too and he wants you to be happy. Yoshinon is just cunning, Shido will always care about you. It's normal to feel jealous about it but he just wants to help her, like he helped you. Would you like other girls like you to suffer?
Tohka:...
Shido: I can tell it's really important to you, but what is that puppet, Yoshinon, to you? Yoshinon is my friend, and he's a hero.
Yoshino: A hero? Yoshinon is the ideal I aim for. He's what I want to be. He's not weak and hesitant like me. He's strong and cool.
Shido: What you want to be, huh? I like you more now though, Yoshino.
