Jeff the Killer
The return of Jeffery wasn't all that pleasant. Don't get me wrong, Y/N was glad he was back, but that meant things that were once peaceful in her home, went back to the way they were in the first place. She had no clue if it was a good thing or a bad thing that she was used to all of this chaos.
Currently, Y/N was cooking dinner for the two of them. She could smell the scent of rain, pine, and pennies in the air, which gave her conflicted feelings. The rain outside hit harshly against her windows that she thought were going to break from the intense pressure.
The killer wasn't in the room she was in currently (she had forced him to dry off), which gave her a sense of relief, but also discomfort. Why would she feel uncomfortable when he isn't around? Clearly, it should be the opposite.
Because her attention was elsewhere, Y/N didn't realize she was cutting too close to the palm of her hand before it was too late. The girl let out a pained yelp and dropped her knife out of pain. Luckily it did not land on her foot.
The female looked at the palm of her right hand and furrowed her brows together when she saw a long gash that was cut from the top corner of her palm all the way to the other corner. She hissed when it stung, crimson pooling out from the cut. Y/N stepped over to her kitchen sink and turned the faucet on, cold water running softly over the cut, her palm facing upwards. It stung a bit more, so she looked away, her E/C eyes becoming a bit glossy because of the pain.
"Hey," Jeff turned the corner from her hall and to the kitchen, "what's-"
The male stopped himself, his already wide eyes assessing the situation. He sighed, stepping over to her. Y/N, whose heart was already bursting from her chest, felt it accelerate when he stood next to her, their arms brushing against each other. He hesitantly reached out to her hand which was under the cold water. The male took her hand and tilted it to the side so the water would run down the side of her palm rather than directly on it. This felt better and it no longer stung as much as it usually did.
"I'll be right back." He murmured, leaving her side. The warmth on her left disappeared and she suddenly felt cold. Her heart no longer beat because of the adrenaline from the wound, but for something else. Y/N pressed her unwounded hand to her chest, trying to calm her heart. Not a second later, Jeffery returned. He had a white square in his hand and peeled the label off the sticky part of the square bandage.
"Give it here." He motioned. Y/N moved her hand out from under the water and used her other hand to turn it off. She held her hand out to him, showing off the nasty cut. It wasn't deep, but it still didn't look great. Jeff smirked, chuckling lightly. The girl across from him glared.
"You think it's funny that I got hurt?" She huffed, waiting for the male to place the bandage on her palm. The other's eyes stretched upward and he cleared his throat, shaking his head.
"Not at all. I was just thinking how many times you've helped me," he said bluntly, softly placing the bandage on her hand, his other hand holding the wounded one up, "now, I get to help you for once."
Even when Jeff had already placed the bandage on the palm of her hand, she kept her hand on his. Honestly, she was stunned. Though, the silence in the air was broken when the killer pulled his hand away from under hers. He looked oddly unfamiliar with what had just happened, but this made Y/N smile. He glanced at her.
"What the hell are you smiling about?"
She laughed, "you! What you felt was generosity!"
Jeffery paused, frozen as he thought over his words once, then twice. It was quite funny to watch. Then, she could see the color rise to his face, which made Y/N's smile grow all the wider. It was his turn to pout as he crossed his arms and turned his shoulder.
