Jeff the Killer
Fear of memories.
Y/N stepped outside on her front porch, stretching as she took in the morning breeze. The air was still foggy, and the sky was still a bit dim of the waking sun, but it was still morning. She saw a lump of an object on her driveway and smiled happily. It was the newspaper. She headed down her front porch, feeling the cold cement under her feet. It tingled and was much better than scorching hot pavement. The female dipped down and picked up the monochrome pile of paper and headed back to where she came from, inside.
The smell of crackling bacon filled her ears and the smell filled her senses. Yes, Y/N was making bacon all for herself, but she was slightly surprised to see a figure flipping it over with her tongs. It was Jeffery, and he looked a bit worn out. He looked over at her, seeing the girl staring at him at the arch of the kitchen.
"That's my bacon," Y/N stated, setting the paper on the kitchen island before heading over to the stove where the bacon sizzled. The killer gave a scoff, handing the kitchen tongs over with his right hand. She could feel the brush of them and his hand was cold, the heat of the stove didn't even warm them up.
"Then we'll share, it's not that hard." He replied, willingly switching places with her. He moved himself to the tall bar stools that were just behind the kitchen counter and immediately slouched over. He eyed the paper and unwrapped the rubber band that kept the morning paper altogether.
Now, Y/N only knew a few things about Jeff the Killer. She knew he was, of course, a killer, and had murdered countless victims...but, she didn't know much about his past. She didn't know if he had a normal life or a tough one, she didn't know if he had a brother, a sister, or if he was an only child. The only thing she knew about his family, was that they were part of his murderous spree.
The H/C-haired girl flipped the bacon over so the pieces wouldn't all get burnt on one side. She hummed silently, listening carefully so she could hear the birds and the sounds of the distant cars, probably people heading to work. That's when she heard the unsuspecting sound of paper ripping.
She turned away from her precious morning bacon and saw Jefferey Woods ripping up the Sunday paper from where he sat. He looked angry and almost frightened. Jeff the killer? Scared of something that was on a piece of paper!
"H-hey..! I was going to read that..." The girl pouted. The male looked out of breath as he didn't seem to notice her voice. He just kept ripping the paper over and over until they were small fragments. There were only a few shreds of pretty large remnants of what the newspaper used to be. Forgetting about her bacon now, she dropped the tongs and watched him as he headed to the living room, sitting down on the couch with a silent gaze.
Looking down at the tile, she picked the nearest chunk of newspaper that she could find and then picked up another. She saw one big one and picked that one up too. They had bold letters written on them.
BROTHER OF MURDERER JEFFERY WO
She noticed not all of them were together and only saw one big piece on the ground left. Y/N bent down and picked it up, her E/C eyes searching over the word until a cold hand sharply grabbed onto her wrist. It was tight, squeezing tighter and making her drop the clipping of the paper. She winced, looking at the black-haired killer straight in the eye, hiding her fear behind her strong, E/C eyes. He was frowning, but the frown didn't seem to be directed at her. He was emotional for a different reason.
"Do you...want to talk about it?" She whispered, ignoring the crackling in the background. The male still held onto Y/N's wrist, but not as tight as before, he had loosened it actually. His head seemed to fall and he released her smooth wrist which was smaller in his own hand.
