...

"Who are you, you scoundrel!" she demanded, pointing her longsword toward me. "I don't know what you're talking about," I replied, pretending to be innocent.

"Really? With the shield and sword?" She stated.

"Uhm... I fight the evil grass that's trying to take over the world?" Was the only thing I could say, which triggered her to attack quickly, dashing towards my direction and letting out a loud battle cry.

"It's time to go night-night!" she yells as I dashed backward, dodging, and creating distance from her attack.

"Oh, brother... FUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!"

The longsword came down hard but I quickly darted back to avoid it. How did I do that? I don't know how but I just did.

"Another blessing perhaps?" I wondered to myself as I ducked and weaved to avoid her sword-swinging approach.

And just as I was saying that a faint ping noise came.

//You have learned Evasion!//

"Bingo!" I said out loud after regaining ground and beginning a counterattack. I couldn't have called it any better myself.

She blocks it using her weapon and quickly pushes me back, then executes a sharp turn of attack. This made me play on the defensive and take the attack, but this resulted badly and made me regret that decision as her attack did more than 30 damage.

"Shit! That's going to be a problem!" I said to my own thoughts. I might have underestimated my opponent, thinking that she was just some random bandit in the woods. Turns out she was a highly skilled fighter fantasizing about even weirder things.

I dodged her attack again, moving a few paces to her left and then launching a quick attack, trying to catch her off guard. I had a feeling this would be a good opportunity to score a lucky hit, so I braced myself for the strike and waited for her to make a mistake.

*CLASH!!!*

I was dismayed, to see that she had used the long sword to defend her weak side, which had allowed her to block my quick attack. If this continues, I was certain I would be six feet under before I could reach her.

She quickly regained her form, pointing her sword at me and growling, "Whatever game your playing scoundrel, it won't work..." Then, without warning, she vanished from her position. It made me raise my guard up and use my senses to detect where she could reappear. How did I know this? Well, if you've read too many fantasy stories with overpowered characters who always disappear mid-fight. And then come back to obliterate the opponent in one singular attack.
