1-6: Deep in the forest

"The mercenaries must've gone this way," said Lorraine who along with me, was watching Alexa as she was currently checking out a set of footprints. 

"This is a big forest if I'm correct, so we aren't that far behind them. And if that is their track, then we might be able to catch up." I told Alexa, but she didn't even bother looking back at me as she replied, "I hope so, 'cause if something bad ever happens to her... I don't know what I might do." The air became cold at the end of her sentence, but that was dispersed with her going back to her cherry-red energy like nothing ever happened. I looked at Lorraine and she did the same as we both just shrugged at one another at what just happened. We both had the same confused expression on our faces, not knowing what to think or say.

Alexa then stood up quickly, shaking away the dust and dirt from her hands. She then says excitedly, "I think we should stick with Lorraine's suggestion."

"Then what are we waiting for? C'mon, time is getting wasted. The sooner we rescue the princess, the more time we will have searching for your Queen and Captain." I said to Alexa with a smile on my face.

"Right..." She responds while Lorraine walks up to her while searching for something in her basket. Once she pulled out, it was... a phone? Weird, and again, what kind of world did God just send me to? I'm starting to become confused. Lorraine hands her the phone, and she takes it without a second thought.

After that, Lorraine tells her, "It's dangerous to go alone, take that. In case we got split up, you can call or text me so I know where I would find you. And as for you..." She then looks at me and jokingly says, "You'll be fine even if you get lost." To which sent a mental facepalm in my head. This lady just got even weirder to me. I don't know what to make of her, but now I'm even more on edge than I was before.

"I don't have one either, but..." I said, then went to search my pocket and felt a familiar feeling. I pulled out what looked like, my own phone... Man, how could I not figure out I had been carrying this with me for a while now? What's next? My P.E. teacher suddenly appearing as a summoned unit?

"Oh? So you have one? That's great, then it means we won't have to worry about communication if we get separated from each other." said Lorraine as she began walking forward with me and Alexa following behind her.

"I'll be sending you two useful pieces of info as you journey along, and I'll be your annoying fairy along the way." She says with a smile, but I don't fully trust her yet, and so is Alexa I think. So I'm calling it now; she's more suspicious than before.

"C'mon, don't look at me like that..." Lorraine says as her smile rapidly turns into a sad one before quickly switching back and telling us with positive energy, "Anyways! It's time to find your friend."
