Morgan: "So what happened with you and Naomi at the Redskins game, huh?"
Reid: "Top secret."
Woman: "Derek."
Morgan: "Hey."
Woman: "Hey. I put the transcript from the last prison interview on your desk."
Morgan: "Ok. It wasn't classified rush. You could have sent it interoffice."
Woman: "I could have." she smirks, walking off as Reid and Morgan slow in their steps, watching a pair of women walk past them, glancing at Morgan with smiles on their faces
Reid: "Must be tough, man." he chuckles, shaking his head
Morgan: "Not really."
Reid: "What do you mean? You don't do anything and these women are throwing themselves at you."
Morgan: "Strictly off-limits, Reid."
Reid: "There's no code of conduct that says agents can't socialize."
Morgan: "Well, see my code of survival says never mess with a woman who carries a gun."
Watson: "Smart man." she hums, brushing past the two as Morgan chuckles
Hotch: "So it sounds like bed rest isn't turning out to be very restful" he hums, motioning Watson into his office once she knocks on the door "Honey, just try to relax and-and get a little rest, ok? Bye."
Watson: "Everything all right?"
Hotch: "Yeah. The doctors are worried about Haley's blood-sugar levels. They're worried about pre-eclampsia and I'm worried she's not gonna last 6 weeks in bed."
Watson: "She wants out of the hospital. Can't blame her. All they have on TV is nothing but soap operas." she huffs, shaking her head as Hotch chuckles
Hotch: "Yeah. Is it here?"
Watson: "Yeah." she nods, the pair heading towards the conference room
Hotch: "Reid, Morgan document's up on the screen regarding the kidnapping of Trish Davenport."
Reid: "Have you read them yet?"
Hotch: "Yeah, I got a copy from the document examiner."
Morgan: "What's it say?"
Hotch: "That we've got until 8:00 tonight."
➰
Reid: "You will follow instructions carefully. You will do this to ensure the safety of your daughter. You will wait for the call. You will answer the call at 8:00 P.M. You will write down the instructions and follow them to the letter." he reads
Hotch: "That gives us less than 9 hours to get to Connecticut, work up victimology on Trish Davenport and prepare her father for the ransom drop."
Gideon: "How do we know the letter's real?"
Hotch: "The handwriting is a match for Trish's. He dictated it to her."
Watson: "Saline was also found on the paper."
Gideon: "Her tears."
Morgan: "He never says "I." He doesn't say "I will call." He says, "you will answer the call." He's distancing himself from the kidnapping. If he said "I", he'd be taking responsibility for it."
Hotch: "There's also another missing element."
Elle: "No mention of the police. Ransom notes almost always forbid police involvement."
