Morgan: "I was teaching an in-service at the Baltimore field office when this came in" he hums, leading the team through a house "Baltimore PD's seen some grisly stuff but never anything like this. We got two bodies I.D.'d as William and Helen Dimarco. Retired, lived here for 37 years old, no kids. Neighbor reports white male, 20 to 40 years old fleeing the scene, and I quote "Hopped up on those damn drugs."

Gideon: "Eyewitness accounts are notoriously unbelievable."

Hotch: "So far it sounds like a standard double homicide. Why are we here?"

Watson: "That's why." she hums, entering a bedroom where blood is splattered along the walls and floor

Morgan: "Massive overkill. Helen Dimarco was found here. Tied to the chair in front of the vanity. No defensive wounds. Ligature marks around the wrist. One clean laceration from ear to ear. "

Elle: "Looks arterial. Probably the carotid. At least she went quickly."

Morgan: "The husband William was found in the shower. But he wasn't quite as lucky. Ligature marks on the wrist and ankles and one long laceration up the abdomen through both layers of muscle."

Reid: "Evisceration-that's typical of disorganized behavior."

Watson: "You ignore all the blood..." she grimaces, motioning to the wall with her hand "This is all this pretty organized."

Morgan: "There was also evidence of torture with the husband. Burns, contusions, lacerations. You name it, this guy tried it."

Reid: "If tortures the unsub's signature, the methodology is usually unique. A person who burns someone doesn't normally use a knife."

Hotch: "So maybe we have more than one killer or we have one killer with more than one personality."

Gideon: "We also have 3 victims" he hums "Blood on the vanity, wife's body was found there, husband was in the shower. From the looks of the level of the ring in this tub, whoever was in it lost their entire blood volume."

Reid: "Approximately 10.6 pints."

Watson: "Which means the victim was dismembered."

Morgan: "It looks like our guy took all the parts with him."

Gideon: Hemingway wrote, "There is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it never really cared for anything else."

JJ: "Possible suspect is a white male, 20 to 40 years old. He is considered armed and very dangerous..."

Hotch: "Okay. What do we know about the unsub based on the 2 bodies we do have?"

Reid: "Typically torture falls into two categories, sadistic and functional. Functional torture is used to extract information or punishment. It's measured, impersonal, completely disinterested."

Hotch: "Like a military tactic."

Reid: "Exactly. Then there's sadistic torture, which is used to extract some sort of emotional lead."

Elle: "But sadists are sexually deviant yet there is no evidence of sexual contact."

Hotch: "That we know of."

Reid: "What do you mean?"

Hotch: "Well, we don't have the third body yet."
-
Watson: "Okay, so I have Helen Dimarco tied to the chair. He probably killed her first."

Gideon: "Proved to the others that he had no mercy. Psychological torture before the physical pain."

Watson: "Only there was no satisfaction from her death. Cut along the neck, it would've been over too quickly."
