Lloyd x Male Reader [Angst]

"YOU CAN still be good, Y/N!" Lloyd cried out to the male in front of him. You stared blankly at him as he cried. You couldn't love him and he knew that. You both knew that. You frowned looking away from the boy. "Please look at me." His voice sounded weak as if his legs would give out any second now. You wanted him to stop crying.
Why? You didn't know why you cared so much. You barely knew him yet here you were. You hated yourself for it. This was all because you had fallen for your best friend. "Lloyd, please just leave..." You begged not even turning to face him. You didn't want to see how sad he looked. How disappointed. How betrayed. How broken. But you did. You turned around. You stared into the green eyes of your crush. He was hurt, and you weren't helping either. But, you couldn't do anything about it. This had become normal. The tears. The yelling. It used to bother you but now, it only made you feel guiltier.
Your hands reached up to wipe away the tears rolling down his cheeks. He flinched but let them happen. He stepped forward grabbing both of your arms. "Come with me, please. You can live with us. Please stay." Lloyd's words echoed in your head. The boy you loved, who held your heart since forever wanted nothing more than to have you. To love you. Just one more time. Just until everything could be okay again. You didn't deserve someone like him.
A tear rolled down your cheek. Your eyes filled with unshed tears. "I can't...I'm sorry Lloyd." You choked out, pulling away. You were shaking but the tears kept falling. You were a mess of emotions and you couldn't control them anymore. "I have to go." Your voice broke. You turned on your heel and ran. No one could follow you. Not Lloyd nor anyone else. You ran out of sight and out of mind. And never to return.
