"Good morning and welcome to Germany!" a voice droned into Harry's hotel room. He yawned and looked at the corner, where an old looking machine sat. "It's currently 8 am, we're close to Cologne."
Harry yawned again and got up. He walked to his little balcony and opened it. Sadly, there was no more snow around. Well, not as much as Norway had, which was kind of... understandable. But there was a thin layer on the trees and the grass.
Grinning, Harry walked into the kitchen and greeted Matthew who seemed a bit overwhelmed, especially when the alarm for the eggs went off. Smirking, Harry just quickly jumped in and took care of the bacon and made sure that the toast didn't burn. Meanwhile, another alarm went off for the croissants in the oven.
Matthew was clearly very close to throwing the towel on the floor. "Why does everything happen at once?!" he huffed as he ran across the kitchen and Harry kept his eyes on the eggs as well.
In the end, the only reason why there was a decent breakfast on the table was largely thanks to Harry. Draco had walked into the kitchen close to the end, where Matthew had seemingly gained a few grey hairs.
"Good morning, Harry, what are you doing here? Why are you cooking?"
Harry snorted and motioned to the man who was in a glaring contest with the pies. "Someone clearly has a bad day."
Draco followed his gaze and snorted. "Despite what we all think, Matthew's not a morning person. I see you already got my job then. I'm so replaceable."
"Only in your head" Harry answered and grinned. "I could use some help keeping this morning monster over there sane."
Laughing, Draco nodded and all three eventually got a decent meal to the dining hall. Then, Draco ran off to greet new people and Harry sat down at the table with Daniela. She yawned and rubbed her forehead.
And as Harry sat down, she jerked up. "Holy shit, I thought I was still dreaming."
Smirking, Harry shook his head. "No, we're about to get breakfast. Did you not sleep well last night?"
"Probably the full moon."
Harry frowned, thinking about whether or not they had a full moon last night when Matthew walked up, looking like he hadn't just almost lost his mind in the kitchen. "No, Daniela, we've talked about this. It's the apparition magic from the hotel, your room isn't warded correctly, so you're always getting some of the excess magic there. If you would just let us..."
"I like this room!"
It seemed to Harry as if they'd had that this discussion for the past two months already and he snorted and continued eating his breakfast in silence. His plan for today was simple, really. Explore the new country they had just landed in. He had never actually been to Germany before and with the translation spell, this was a pretty good way to find out new things.
And who knew, maybe Draco could join him in the afternoon - or evening, whenever it suited him honestly. Harry didn't much care when, rather than that he would come.
The latter was the most important
