With the arrival of the owners, Christmas seemed to rush towards them unmercifully. The people inside the Christmas Hotel had started to gain a new kind of tradition by now. Every morning, Harry would get up early enough to help Matthew out in the kitchen. Peeps, Julie and Lisa would set the table, Aara, Alex and Luke would bring out he food while Roberto, Daniela and Jax helped Harry and Matthew cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast while Margaret and Draco cleaned the dining room.
They had turned into somewhat of a family.
And as Christmas came closer, one morning, there was a giant Christmas tree inside the hotel. Harry had run past it, before he stopped and frowned at the picture in front of him. He had seen something green in the corner of his eyes, but couldn’t believe what he actually saw.
So, when he turned around, he found the green tree innocently standing there. Harry stared right back.
“Morning Harry, what do you think of it?” Draco asked and Harry grinned as he turned to face the Slytherin.
“Is it supposed to be so… big?” he asked with a grin. “I really like it.”
And what he liked most of all was the typical wood and needle smell in the air from the Christmas tree. This was one thing he loved most about Christmas. And he had already almost forgotten it, since he never really had the time or interest to place a Christmas tree in his home.
“Good, because I went to the Christmas tree farm and told them to give me a tree that would make my boyfriend happy.”
Harry snorted. “I don’t think that’s what happened, Draco.” He turned around and found the Slytherin grinning from ear to ear. “What?”
Draco laughed. “I called you my boyfriend and you didn’t even bat an eye at it? Good to know that you approve.”
“You called me what?” Harry asked with a raised voice. “Why didn’t I hear that?!”
“It’s because in your mind I’m already your boyfriend” Draco announced, preening himself.
Harry sniggered and rolled his eyes. “I hate that I like you. And yes, fine, I’ll be your boyfriend, since you asked so nicely.”
“Oh no, that wasn’t a question” Draco said with a grin. “You can’t get away from me, I’ll find you wherever you hide… I know all the good hiding spots in this hotel.”
“So all the good make-out spots?” Harry retorted which made Draco laugh and he agreed. “Why is the tree not decorated yet?”
“It’s usually what a family does together, no?”
Harry hummed and grinned at his boyfriend. “I guess that’s a good idea. Breakfast first and then decorate or the other way around?”
“No, we should have eaten beforehand. I’ll go and look for the things to decorate and you go and cook.”
“Yes sir” Harry stuck out his tongue, while Draco smirked at him.
“I’ll go report you to the owners. I don’t think you match in here.”
Harry snorted. “Good luck with that, Mikolaj already gave me the papers, I’ll just have to sign it.”
Draco sniggered. “I’ll just go and hide all the pens around the hotel. Can’t sign shit if you’ve got no pen.”
“We are wizards, Draco, that’s literally a false statement.”
Harry widened his eyes, when Draco pecked his lips with a grin. “I know, go and cook, you hopeless idiot.”
