Chapter 11: Germany: Day 7

Harry walked into the kitchen the next morning where he found Julie and Matthew cleaning up together. Julie didn't cook right? Harry stopped and watched as she blew Matthew a kiss, which made him immediately retreat to the dining room.

Inside were Roberto and Raffael playing chess. "Morning guys."

"Not helping in the kitchen today?" Raffael asked, before he moved the queen all the way to the opposite side of the board that had Roberto widen his eyes in horror.

Harry smirked. "Nah, didn't want to interrupt Julie and Matthew."

Roberto moved the rook back, but Raffael just destroyed it. "Check mate."

"I hate playing chess with people that are better than me." Roberto rolled his eyes, before he looked at Harry. "Interested?"

"No thanks, that game would only last for one minute."

"How boring" Raffael said with a smirk. "So, what are we doing today? Anything fun?"

Daniela walked into the dining room yawning. "And why do we have to be up so early. It's not even seven o'clock."

"Oh poor you" Raffael said with a grin. "Or do you prefer German?"

The Swiss woman raised her eyebrows and Raffael grinned. "Du arme Sau." Daniela burst out laughing like she was crazy just when Draco entered.

"I leave you alone for a few minutes and you already get crazy, huh? Where's the rest?"

"They probably couldn't leave their warm beds, Draco" Daniela said reproachfully.

The Slytherin didn't look taken aback by it and simply smirked. "Trust me that this is something you all want to experience."

"But not that early!"

Draco shook his head. "No, Daniela. Once you're back, you're going to agree that it was worth getting up so early."

Raffael placed the chess back on the shelf and grinned at the woman. "I don't know why you're so angry. I usually get up at half past four just to make it to my job every day. This was a delight getting to wake up so late and still have to do something."

While Daniela and Raffael were arguing with each other over the best time to wake up, Draco had once again left the room and returned shortly with all the guests currently residing in the hotel. "Well, my friends. Today, you will get a Rhine boat trip that lasts for about ten hours. Food is included, I think there's also nice Christmas music and a lot of interesting facts about Cologne. The tour starts at seven thirty, which is why I have asked you to be here by seven so we can get you fed and then go there and send you off to a nice day."

"Notice how quiet Daniela is" Raffael whispered loudly and got a dark glare from the witch that had Harry laugh loudly.

"When are you leaving again, Raf? I'm going to celebrate that date forever."

Draco just chuckled and shook his head. "Behave, guys. And also... make sure to wear something warm when you head out."

With one wink at Harry, the Slytherin walked out again and probably headed to the reception or the room behind it. Daniela and Raffael had finally stopped arguing and they ate in quiet anticipation to what was about to happen.

At half past seven, they stood ready to watch the city from the river and to hear a lot of history facts about Cologne
