Maddy's POV:
I wanted to follow Matt as soon as he walked out of my room to ask for his number. But my feet would just not move. So I just stayed in my room and continued to unpack. It was about 12am when I was finished unpacking. I was starving so I went downstairs to see a box of pizza that my parents had order. I grabbed two slices and went back to my room and opened my computer to watch The Vampire Diaries on Netflix. After finishing my pizza I slowly started to drift off into sleep.
I woke up at 9am to the sound of birds chirping outside my window. I was pissed because I hate being woken up. I got up from my bed and headed downstairs. I made my way to the kitchen and made myself some tea. After finishing my tea I decided that I should go for a walk. So I headed upstairs took a quick shower. Threw my hair in a messy bun and put on concealer and mascara. I went through my draws and pulled out a PINK t-shirt and some leggings to wear and then put on my black vans. I walked downstairs and grabbed the extra key just in case my parents decided to leave and walked out the door.
After shutting my door I turned to walk toward the street noticing Matt playing basketball in his drive way with some friends. He was shirtless. He turned and saw me and that was when I realized that I was still staring at him. He smiled and started walking towards me. As he approached me he said, "Hey where are you off to?" I responded with " I wanted to take a walk and get to be familiar with the neighborhood." He said, " Why don't I come with you since I have lived here basically my entire life." " Are you sure? I don't want to interrupt the game your playing with your friends." I said. " It's cool, they live down the street and we can just finish the game later." He said.
He ran back to his drive way, threw on a shirt and told his friends that he was going on a walk with me and that he would text them later to finish the game.
