Eve stood there with a dumbfounded expression on her face. The water from her shower dripped down her wet hair and soaked into the back of her green t-shirt. She was astonished; she never believed things like this existed. Eve thought she was the only one who could ever do these types of things, but even she wasn’t this advanced; if at all.

“Get in here before you catch a cold,” Triss said gesturing Eve to come in. But Eve couldn’t move; her legs wouldn’t let her. It was as if she were glued to the spot where she was standing. Triss finally looked at Eve full-on, rolling her eyes. Triss walked over to Eve and picked up the towel she had just dropped on the floor.

“Newbies…” she muttered. She grabbed Eve’s arm and steered her into the center of the newly transformed room. She went into the closet right next to that awful room, and got a fresh towel.

“Here, let me dry and braid it for you,” taking the towel; she twisted it until all of the excess water from her hair squeezed it. She then took a brush from off the bed and started to comb through her burgundy hair. Eve didn’t even notice it; she just gazed at every single inch of the room she could see.

The walls seemed to be re-painted a light pink, just soft enough so people don’t think that it’s white. The plum carpet, that had once covered the entire floor, had shrunk to a size where it only went under both beds that appeared inside the room. Eve was standing on it just now. It felt wonderful, just like that one time, in the summer, when she went to the park and ran around in the soft green grass barefoot. Only this seemed softer and even more delicate than the grass.

In fact she liked it so much that she tried to dig her feet deeper and deeper into it until she couldn’t anymore. She looked up into the ceiling of the room; it was the most magnificent of it all. The ceiling seemed to have been replaced with the night sky. Only it was so much more life-like than the real one was, brighter even. It was like if she touched it, she herself would be forced into the gravitational pull and sent floating throughout the galaxy.

“All finished,” Triss said sighing. Eve turned around and thanked Triss. But she wanted to know more about what the room was all about, it was unbelievable.

“What is all of this? It was so much different from before…” Eve asked looking around the room.

“This?” Triss said gesturing to the room around her. “I was only half way finished when you walked in; I hate the way Maximus leaves this place, he never takes care of it at all. Just leaves it until it could be of use again. That’s why I always change it to my liking whenever I come back.”

“Still… it’s amazing,” Eve whispered. “Can I watch you while you finish up?” Eve asked as she backed away, trying to give her some room.

Triss just shrugged, “Sure, but why don’t you come over next to me and press your palm to mine. It would speed up the job considerably with the amount of power we could wield together.”

Eve stopped backing away and started to walk toward her. Soon she was in the center of the room facing Triss. As she stared at Triss, she could tell something was wrong, she seemed even wearier than before. Her eyes were duller than they used to be, as though somebody had sucked the life right out of them. But maybe that was because she hadn’t rested yet, either way she chose to ignore it and continue on.

Triss put her palms in the air, “Put your hands against mine and try to focus your energy into them; you need to learn to control the power you possess.” Eve nodded and put the palms of her hands against Triss’. They both closed their eyes while she tried to focus her energy. She had never done this before; this type of power only came when she experienced intense emotion. After a moment she began to concentrate on the power within her. Inside the depths of her body she began to feel something awakening.
