Arizona's pov-

"Arizona!" Carina called after me as I walked away from Isabella's room.

I mean why is she being stupid and going home, she's a doctor she has to know how ridiculous she is being.

"Arizona, will you stop and talk to me!"

Oh right I forgot I was arguing with carina before I got distracted.

"Look carina, my daughter is coming home and when she gets here I want to focus on her and her only."

"I understand that but I don't see why we have to break up, many single parents date while raising a child."

"Carina, I want to focus on her for the time being and when I'm ready to date I will start again."

"I'm not waiting for you Arizona."

"I never asked you too, you deserve someone who is ready." I tell her as I kiss her one last time before walking away to find any of Isabella's sisters.

After searching the massive fucking hospital I realised they were all in surgery.

I looked at the board and saw that Meredith and Amelia were in the same or so I went in there so I would be able to speak to two of her sisters instead of one.

I grab a mask before walking in and catching the attention of both women, who go back to what they were doing when they realised it was me.

"Are you just letting Isabella go home?! She had surgery yesterday."

"It's not like she's going to be alone, she's going to be in the nicu during the  day and with three doctors at
Night." Meredith replied, not even bothering to look at me. "Why does it even matter she is a grown woman and a doctor herself, if there was serious risks with her leaving today she wouldn't be doing it."

"I'm her doctor and I'm telling you she shouldn't be going home!"

"Has she signed the paper work?" Amelia speaks up, sounding clearly uninterested in what I had to say.

"Yes but-"

"Then you aren't her doctor anymore, she has signed the papers, she knows the risks. Now I suggest you go look after the patients that do want you to help them." She replied.

I just stood there, staring at them not understanding why they can't see where I'm coming from.

"If it wasn't clear I'm kicking you out of my or, so leave." She exclaimed.

I think that's the first time Amelia has shouted at me.

I give them one last look before leaving the room and running back to Isabella's hospital room.

Hoping I could get through to her before she leaves.

When I arrived the room was empty except for the nurse who was cleaning and setting the room up for the next patient.

"Where did doctor Grey go?"

"She left to take baby Freya to peds floor around five minutes ago." She tells me with a smile.

"Thank you." I sigh as I walked out of the room.

I quickly check in on all my patients before going to the nicu to find Isabella.

As I entered the floor, I saw Alex examining Freya.

"You are doing so good for uncle Alex." I heard him say to the baby when she whine when he checks her heart beat.

"Where's Isabella?" I asked as I smiled at the small baby.

"She got emotional when she handed Freya over so Jo took her to get some lunch while I do her check up." He replied placing Freya into the nicu bed and connecting her to the monitors. "For being 3 months early she is very strong and healthy, I think I could send her home in a week."

"Do you know when Isabella will be back!"

"No but I don't think you should be here when she gets back."

"I need her to realise she can't leave, she had surgery yesterday morning-"

"She knows that, she has thought it all through and she's doing what she thinks is best for her and you need to respect that." He tells me, not giving me a chance to talk. "I don't get why you care so much, you chose not to be in her life not even as a friend. You avoided her, you chose that you were just going to ignore her and her feelings instead of talking it out. So in my opinion you made your choice and now you have to let her do what is right for her and her baby and right now what's best for her is leaving the hospital and healing at home."

"I'm just worried if something happens."

"And if something happens she has 3 doctors at home who will bring her in and will be surrounded by doctors when she visits her baby. "

"I guess you are right." I sighed stroking the baby's cheek gently before leaving and going back to work.

He's right, I made my decision now I have to let her be.

But what if I'm already beginning to regret that decision?

"Arizona? If your here to have a go at me about leaving please just stop." Isabella sighs, breaking me out of my thoughts and see the woman that has me feeling like this is standing in-front of me.

"No- I Uh." Think of a lie Arizona. "I wanted to apologise for blowing up, you are a doctor and you know the risks and it's not like you are alone you have a family of doctors."

"Thank you." She smiled, looking back at Jo who was standing behind her, who was quietly watching the moment between us.

"I'm sorry for giving you a hard time about your decision so all I ask is that you come for your check ups once every two weeks so I can keep an eye on the incision and just make sure everything is fine."

"Deal, but you do not treat me like a patient. You check it and unless something is badly wrong you just take note and leave it alone."

I go to argue but I know that this is the best I was going to get.

"Deal, but I get Freya cuddles aswell."

"Okay, talking about my baby. I'm going to go back to her, so I'm happy we sorted this out and I'll see you around." She says, giving me a small smile and walking past me with Jo following after her but I stopped her by grabbing her arm.

"Keep an eye on her atleast, if she looks uncomfortable or in pain Or even flinching I want you to check it out and page me. Okay?"

"Yes doctor robbins." And with that she was gone, following the brunette to see the baby.

Later that day, on the way home I grabbed multiple different types of green paint to decorate Sofia's room, I mean she's coming home in a week and a bit.

And get ready for her and decorating her room will take my mind if these feelings that i don't understand at all.
