“DAD!”
You bolt up in your bed, your dad comes running in.
“Hey, it’s okay, sweetheart, it’s okay”
Your dad walks to you, sitting down on the bed. He gently wraps his arms around you.
“Dad?”
“I’m here”
“I’m sorry”
Dean looks up to you, lifting your chin up.
“Never say you’re sorry for something that isn’t your fault”
“But I’m supposed to be brave”
“Why do you think that?”
“I am Winchester”
“So am I, but even I aren’t always brave”
“Yeah you are”
“No, honey, I’m not, I just hide my fear”
You nod, burrowing your head into his chest. After a while you say:
“But I just want to be normal”
“You are normal, as normal as it gets”
“Dad, I am hunter”
Your dad kisses your head softly.
“Yeah”
“Thank you”
“For what?”
“Everything”
You hug your dad tightly. He puts his chin on top of your head.
The scene starts fading to black, soon going pitch black.
