Chapter 1

   Sage's pov
                        
"I don't bow my head to anyone except from God and my parents" I yelled. "Torture me all you want but I wouldn't bow my head you get that, you are not higher than God" I spat. He chuckled loudly" Or really then where are your parents or wait where is this god you talk about, shut up" I yelled "If I weren't tied up here I will have cut of your tongue you Monster"

I woke up to Diego's horrible singing, "ughhhhh will you shut up already I'm trying to get some sleep here" I said in a sleepy tone and used the sheet to cover my whole body, then I heard Diego skip towards my room and yelled "my princess it time for you to get up now it late" he said in his deep voice which he tried to make it sound girly. I ignored Diego and stood up holding the sheet with me and carrying it around my body as I walked towards the door and made my way towards Emily's room who was busy reading a book and facing the window, using the book to cover her face "Ink drinker what are you reading again" but she totally ignored me "HELLO, ink drinker I'm right here" I walked towards her and collected her book and saw her crying, my face softened it happens often for the past 13years.

I've known Emily since she was 3 years and I was 6 years old my parents and her parents were really good friends so one day when I was six and came back for boarding school I met Emily, she has always been the noisy type, she never listens to instructions and wanted me to play with her 24/7, she will cry when it time for her to go back home, she will pour any food given to her on the floor and make art with it and will cry if you tell her she will not eat because of the mess she makes and when they give her food she will make art with again, so they decided to be feeding her but she said I'm the only one who can feed her, but it all changed when Emily was seven and I was 10 years Our parents left us with our babysitter and went to the shopping mall which kids aren't allowed to go to, as we where tying our babysitter to a chair we heard a "BANG" and we screamed and ran inside frightened, then we heard our babysitter "kids come back and untie me don't worry nothing will happen to you ok" she sweet talked us when I was about to go and untie her Emily stopped me "what if she to is a bad guy" she said frightened I bent down to her "haha don't worry my stubborn cupcake she has been with us for three years she wouldn't do anything" I said sweetly "you sure" she asked "100%" I said even though I was very frightened but I had to do it for cupcake, I went towards the chair where we tied her "oh sage you came" she said " don't worry Jade I will release you so "BANG" I was interrupted by another sound of gun shot and the sound of Emily crying, I quickly untied Jade but instead of her following me she brought out her phone and called someone "are they dead" she said in an evil tone "w- wh- who are you talking about Jade who d-do you want dead" I stammered, then she burst out laughing
"BANG" another gunshot was heard "ahhhhhh" Emily screamed and I ran towards her but Jade held my hand " You are not going anywhere sweetheart" she smirked evily.

"Princess where did you run off to I've been loo..." Diego shouted while entering the room and trailed off when he saw Emily crying and I was sitting on the floor petting her "cupcake are you alright, are you think of what happened in the past?, That all in the past forget it" How can I forget it huh, tell me, you guys know it my fault so how could forget that tell me" she yelled and cried.

I stood up and push a table on the floor and yelled " Emily for goodness sake IT NOT YOUR FAULT ok, say that again and I promise I will hit you do you get that" "hit me, after all you have been saying it for years and you won't do it, I think it better if you hit me because that what I deserve. I don't deserve love or to be treated like a princess or anything like that because we are here suffering because of me" she stood up furious which made her chair fall back. This is the first time in years I've seen Emily angry in years I thought "ahhh" I yelled as I felt something hit my head, I carried my knife and was ready to cut the person but when I turned it was just Diego holding a pillow in the air and chuckled "why are you guys fighting today what wrong with you guys" then Emily burst out laughing and fell on the floor, I turned to her looking extremely mad "so this is funny huh" I yelled with my really messy bed hair, we continued laughing and screaming before I got a call, I picked it up "You have to come it urgent" I hung up "I'm leaving they need me" I said in a dangerous tone "cupcake I think we should follow princess" Diego said in a serious tone "shut up I told you not to call be that long legs" I yelled "cut it out stop acting like kids" Emily said "we have business to take over now enter the car I'll drive" Emily said in a bossy way, we enter the car in silence.

We got off the car and saw a really small cabin and entered it. As we entered, the people that saw us bowed their heads "Raise your heads I've told you never to bow your heads towards us" I said with my voice full of authority "you bow to only God and your parents" I continued "But Miss sage w" one of the soldier said before I interrupted "I have said it before and I will keep saying call me Miss Alexander and don't bow your heads to me UNDERSTOOD" I said the understood louder than the rest. As we got further into the cabin, I wondered what surprise is waiting for us .
We saw someone sitting on a chair in the dark "Miss Alexander it good to finally meet you, how have you been "the man said in a dark tone "Drop the pleaesantries and cut to the chase" Diego said in a tone for people to bow down with fear "You guys are the strongest warriors there is s o I will if you will do some favour for me, will you" he said in a cocky tone "I'm planning to start war with the Europeans and you know I wouldn't stand a chance, so how about we join hands" he asked " If you know you won't stand a chance why will you start a war then" Diego questioned.

Wait a minute the Europeans are the same people who killed I and Emily's parents, I've been waiting for when I can finally have my revenge on those murderers, there couldn't be a better time, I thought as I smirked, I was about to say something thing but was cut out when Emily finally spoke up "Those are the same people who murdered our parents so there couldn't be a better time have revenge" she said with a blank less expression "Now that the spirit so we will have a meeting about this again, the same time and the same place s.." he said before I cut him out and laughed darkly "Just because we accepted it that doesn't mean you will boss is around, we will do all the talking, with not much left to say guys it our quie to leave" with that been said we were leaving before I turned again and said "and their is no tricking me do you hear me" then we left.

The ride back home was silent until we heard a "BANG" and sounds of swords clashing and people screaming their lungs out.
